The hotel is located at the prime tourist attraction. However it’s a bit run down and they did not maintain the cleanliness. A part from the smelly towel, the furniture is outdated. The toilet has stains. The bedsheets is torn. The tv channels reception is bad. Also the hotel has no lift. Wonder why haven’t they changed all these? The only good about the hotel is the buffet spread. A lot of varieties and most staff are friendly & helpful. Nope. I won’t stay in this hotel after this. Thank you.

Great hotel to stay. Good in restaurant is cold and much what is less preferable than fresh made. Nevertheless it's around the corner of welling the Sibayak Mountain which is quite dangerous to climb. Berastagi is also a place where you can ride a horse.

Hotel Sibayak International is a great choice for travelers seeking comfort and a strategic location in Berastagi. Surrounded by beautiful mountain views and fresh air, it offers a relaxing escape from the city. The rooms are spacious and clean, with some featuring private balconies overlooking.

The hotel is not that fancy. It is an old hotel. Maintained well. The breakfast was reasonable and nice although not much of a choice. The taste was not bad. Not much of an activity you can do at night. They do have a massage in-house at a reasonable price. But do check before going as they have limited staff and not all the packages are available. The restaurant opens quite late in case you want to have dinner in-house. The price is reasonable. I guess you can walk out of the hotel to the shops nearby but we could not do that due to rain. It can get quite cold at night. There was no AC in the room due to the chill weather. The hot shower works well and the water pressure is good,

The hotel should just be downgraded to a 2 star hotel. It's so bad in every aspect that I didn't know where to start. It's a disappointment. We booked 5 rooms, and out of 5, 4 rooms had issues. 1 room has mouldy smell so bad that from the outside of the room we can already smell. The other 3 have cockroach issues, there is a dead cockroach lying on top of the bed. We inform the receptionist regarding this issue and none of them apologize for this, they only put air freshener in the room. But then, even after housekeeping, the cockroach is still lying on top of the bed. Wasting of my time to go for another complaint if there is no job done. This should not happen in a 4 star hotel. Then, the shower is broken, we need to modify ourselves so that we can shower. They only provide 1 pillow. There are other 3 star hotels that provide 2 pillows without request. One of the bedsheets is torn. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Wifi is not available in the room. Limited connectivity. I paid extra money to change from a 3 star hotel to this hotel, and its not worth it at all. I paid extra for worst service.

We used the hotel as a base to explore Berastagi and Mount Sibayak. It's a large hotel with spacious rooms and green areas throughout. The breakfast buffet is generous and good, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended!

The hotel is totally run down. Rusted faucet, uncomfortable bed, everything seems like from the early 90s and never updated. The guy who showed us to our room doesn't seem friendly. However the compound is beautiful, wondering why they didn't want to upgrade the room.
