Located in the bustling area of downtown Guilin, adjacent to Two Rivers and Four Lakes, it takes only about 10 minutes to drive to Xiangshan Park/Seven Star Park, East and West Alleys, and Guilin Station, and about 40 minutes to drive to Liangjiang International Airport. The Yingbin Bridge is on the left, the Rongxi Bridge is on the right, facing the water on three sides, hidden in the towering ancient banyan tree, and one side of the century-old library.

A taste of traditional China blended with luxurious Western comforts.
Stayed four nights in this charming boutique hotel that is nestled into a cove beside Ronghu Lake. Although it’s just steps away from the hustle of tourism that features around the lake, it offers an aura of peace and tranquility, amid luxurious furnishings and a taste of old China. Our suite featured a spacious balcony that opened up to an isolated lagoon connected to the Rongu Lake by a shallow channel, too small for any boat traffic larger than a sampan.
Our suite was exquisitely appointed with traditional Chinese furniture that included a working desk, four easy chairs, and a large working desk. Hotel customer service attitude tends to be excellent in China, and in this hotel it was exceptional, always courteous and never obsequious. Breakfast was included and offered a wide range of both Chinese and western dishes, that included vegetarian options. The White House hotel offers a perfect retreat from the Guilin tourist scene: very highly recommended!!!
Coincidentally it is our anniversary my wife and I used the photography service to keep a sweet memory staying in the hotel. It adds a nice touch to this trip.

Traveled back to China from Canada and it was definitely a surprise after checking in at such a unique hotel. Unlike any hotel I've stayed in before, this one is full of rich history, it has a classic interior with incredibly comfy bedding and mattress and I had such a great bedtime on them. The hotel is located within a scenic area, with fabulous views, and is within walking distance to most of the landmarks!
We also booked a night boat from the hotel’s dock, touring the magnificent Four Lakes. Watching the dance performance on Mulong Lake at night was a truly unique experience.
One of my favorite spots was the hotel's cafe - same decor with the excellent coffee from the hands of the great baristas! Another surprise!
I will definitely return to this hotel if I’m back in future!

Hotel is in great location on the side of the lake with big rooms. Friendly staffs but most of them don’t speak English except for one of the manager and luckily we met Yuhan ( manager’s daughter) who recently came to Guilin from Canada to help her mom for a while, who was very helpful with our stay from giving us the directions to nearby attractions (like Sun and Moon tower, Elephant Trunk etc) which is just like 20mins walk from the hotel. And you can always use Wechat to communicate with other staffs as well. Breakfast was Chinese style but the service was good. Highly recommended.

The White House Hotel is an incredible piece of history and a wonderful place to stay. Quietly located at one end of the lakes in central Guilin, this is a luxury hotel with spacious rooms, carefully curated but comfortable furnishings, and an eye for customer service.

桂林相當有調調的一家酒店，規模不大，但其民國風情和館內文化底藴應該是一般酒店很難比的。地理位置非常市中心，門口就是榕湖。大堂有旗袍免費租借拍照。服務非常好，基本是有求必應。有些設施偏老舊，如果能把馬桶、插電等設施翻新一下，基本就是完美的存在。

非常無敵的一家酒店，位置在景區中心，遊船能直接看到放在陽台的茶杯，以酒店為中心繞一圈基本把桂林市區的景點走個七七八八。
酒店本身走的是高端路線，整體裝修復古氣派，非常有味道，隨機一個角落都是完美取景地，（據説裏面很多都是歷史遺留收藏）。
服務也是極好的，前台很熱情，來時幫我拿行李，走的時候也幫忙拿了寄存的行李，微信找人也基本秒回。
另外：一定要去打卡他們酒店的咖啡廳，老闆很優雅熱情，會推薦他們本地人愛吃的美食（**找不到得高德地圖找的那種美食）附近有一家桂林米粉超級無敵好吃，找他們聊聊，頂過小紅書了。
酒店價格是有些高，但裝潢服務設備都跟得上，安安靜靜的，山水花鳥，很詩意，大浴缸泡個澡在露台喝喝茶看看書真的有休息到。
回去打工了，下次再累過頭了還來。
