Great location. Just have to go into the parking lot and stay to the right. Make sure you recognize the Chinese characters on the sign and building code "5-3-1". (I think 3 means third floor.) There's hot water and a washing machine. There's one sitting toilet, one swatter and two showers for like 10 possible hostel guests. Lastly, the staff speak English and they are very helpful.

Perfect hostel to stay in Guilin Close to station and close to.most of the attractions I was lucky enough to have all the hostel.for.myself :D Clean and with everything you need( also a kitchen ,and tv)

The location is a bit further out but close to the bus station to the rice fields and one of the train stations. It might not be the easiest to find, but as I came by taxi from a further train station, I was dropped right there. The private room I stayed in was perfect for one. It was clean and quiet. I really liked the vibes! :) Cindy was a very helpful host and happy to help. She paired me up with a local traveller, and we ended up doing a couple of things together. The hostel was also a good place to meet fellow Western travellers.

It was super cold +10 degrees C outside and Owner not responded regarding heating. The location was close to Central Railway Station and restaurants.

Very comfortable hostel with kitchen and clean bathroom. The host wasn't around to greet, but gave me all the information needed on WeChat. Very conveniently located and very comfortable place to stay Would recommend

Very spacious common spaces with good equipment. Friendly people and helpful staff!

Cindy the owner speaks amazing English (which is really nice after weeks of travelling in China and no one speaking English). She can give you tips about visiting Guilin and help you book a cruise to Yangshuo if you want to take it. I found the hostel really easily with her indications and it's super close to the train station and the 4 lakes 2 rivers area which is lovely to stroll around in the evening. I wish the beds weren't that hard, but that seems to be common in many hostels. But overall it's a very convenient place to stay

This hostel is much more than expected! The host is very friendly. The room is very nice and clean. It’s very homey. We had a really nice stay there. There’s also a washing machine which can be used for laundry. Quite convenient. However, the place is a bit hard to find at first given that we had to walk up the building to find the entrance. But it’s close to the train station so that’s all good!

Although I could not check-in normally at the reception (if you arrive late in the evening there might be no one), you can get the information to enter the room through Wechat. The owner is kind and fast to answer the messages. The room is very clean and the same applies for the shared facilities.

I had a nice stay there. The accommodation is very spacious. Feels like living in a flat instead of a hostel. Which was a nice experience. It's a bit hard though to find the place. Maybe there could be a more detailed description.

It has a pretty central location. The facility is really big and clean. It was really quiet when I went.

overall, Fish house hostel is very good but not perfect... hard to find and no elevator to the third floor but room was very good and the proprietor was very nice and helpful... definitely recommend

房間整潔乾淨，家的感覺，像這樣旅遊淡季的時候來，就一個人簡直不要太爽。牆壁上寫了各種攻略，還有一氣呵成的英語，估計店家以前還是個成績不錯的大學生。 看得出這家青旅做的很用心，想提個點子做的更好：進大門處放個鞋墊，大門左邊設定鞋架，可以安個簡易屏風做隔斷，再配個換鞋標識。進門即換鞋，可以減少灰塵，客人舒服，也少打掃衞生。 這方面，全國西安的青旅走在前面，可以借鑒。
