This resort is the best place I have stayed on my 2 week road trip! It is quiet, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff goes above and beyond and it is only 2 blocks from downtown. Sitting amongst the redwoods was so relaxing and the pool and fire pit area are nice amenities. The continental breakfast was yummy too(great, homemade breakfast bread!) Cathy(the owner), couldn't have been more accommodating when I had a minor issue with my refrigerator. I will definitely come back and stay the next time I am in the area... hopefully this winter!! Thanks for everything Cathy!!!

The Highlands Resort is fantastic. What was once an old logging camp has transformed itself into a quaint and splendid boutique resort in Russian River and convenient to all areas of the Russian River and steps away from downtown Guerneville Rooms were really nice with recent renovation and convenience all the way through the resort from the get-you-going continental breakfast (The special blend Flying Goat coffee is AMAZING!!!), barbecue area, and so much more like filtered water station. Best of all, the staff is so accommodating to help you....truly there to help you enjoy your vacation with great local knowledge and ideas. And oh ....beds were super comfortable to help you reset for your next day of Russian River exploring...will be back.

I loved my stay here. It was fall and starting to get chilly, so a quieter time of year. The cabins are newly renovated and gorgeous. Great vibe with redwoods, gardens, and a delicious continental breakfast. Being able to walk down the hill and into town is excellent.

The Highlands is a gem of place to stay in the Russian River Valley! I was unexpectedly upgraded, which was a real treat. The rooms and cabins are very charming, and there is a lot to do in and around Greenville. The manager was super helpful in recommending activities: hiking at the Armstrong Redwoods Reserve; walking the Kortum Trail between Shell Beach and Goat Rock Beach on the coast; shopping and dining in Duncan Mills. They offer a complimentary continental breakfast, and they have an outdoor, heated pool open from May-October. I would definitely stay here again!

Wir haben ein paar sehr schöne Tage in diesem kleinen und gepflegten Hotel verbracht. Es ist entspannt, gemütlich, sauber und wunderbar in der Natur gelegen. Das nächste mal bleiben wir länger. Ich kann Guerneville nur empfehlen. Inzwischen hat es auch sehr gute Restaurants.
