Banana Design Mansion

The hotel was difficult to find at first, it is located within the Vertical City and reception is on 18th floor. However it is well located with good service. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and free water. Chonggang metro station is in the basement of the building and there is a shopping mall nearby with nice restaurants. The laundry room is messy and our clothes didn’t smell good after using the dryer. Good projector in the room with some English shows but mainly Chinese. The room wasn’t as nice as the photos showed. Lift took a long time to come. Overall, it was good but it should be much cheaper.

Great location with basic facilities. However, the waiting time to take the lift is too long especially during office peak period. The hotel lobby is difficult to allocate and the checkin counter is stationed with only one staff. They are not services oriented.

Amazing view and very comfortable bed. So close to the subway station that links to all the main spots. The room itself has all the essentials, clean and right size for a solo traveler, maybe too just if you stay in 2 people. One night I had neighbors watching or playing games but in my room couldn't feel the noise, it means that the soundproof is quite good. I will definitely book here again next time I come to Guangzhou.
