Plog Popuge Hotel (Guangzhou Beijing Road Pedestrian Street Big Buddha Temple)

This hotel is well-located by the Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, a tourist spot. It would have been great if they keep the glass panels at the lobby and the room windows clean.

The hotel location is super great and convenient. It located to famous pedestrian Beijing road nearby and the metro MRT station is within walking distance. The receptionist and cleaners are friendly and provide good service. Strongly recommend with the affordable price paying for.

The location was great! Staff were friendly and nice, and the lobby was pretty. The downsides were that there was no fridge, and we had to wait quite a while for the lift. Also, since the hotel is located in the central area of Beijing Road, which is full of eateries, a cockroach appeared in our room on the first day. However, the staff responded quickly and handled the situation well. Just keep in mind that this might happen due to the hotel's location. Other than that, everything was good!

second time to guangzhou and decided to stay in beijing road. wrong choice yall…. it was so crowded and not helping that I travelled during labour day…. seems like ALL CHINA FOLKS WERE IN GUANGZHOU TOO 🥲🥲🥲 we stayed in room 513, the family bunk room. apparently my sis told me that, after we left the hotel and waiting for our flight back home, there’s a handprint near the socket….. luckily she told me after we left LOL the cleanliness of the room is still ok.. no stains on bed sheet, floor is clean, toilet is clean but the basin area can be cleaner… it was rusty (no picture). one thing I hated about this hotel is the lift…. when it is peak period, it can get so crowded… there are two lifts but I still have to fight my way in… 🙃 ordered alot of taobao items and they have a corner to store all the customer’s parcels. amazing how they trusted all customers to only take their own parcels. we couldnt find ours and the staff came and help us search for it! overall, this hotel is not too bad, minus the lift, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Nice hotel with basic amenities. Very good location a lot of food around and we felt safe walking back at night. Free biscuits and tea provided at the reception. You can request for free cocktail daily and flavours were mint and pomegranate. When we require room service it was very prompt and we were impressed that all our request were being met almost immediately - special shout out to the staff 小石 and 小吴 for their 5 star service! Hotel provided free bottled water and allowed us to request for more for the first few nights. One day the staff said rooms are only issued two bottles a day and any extra required will be charged.

Nice location, not far from Beijing lu. The staff can communicate with English. Super recommend for foreigner.
