Stayed at this hotel for our New Year’s Eve trip to Guangzhou. The location of the hotel is very good and central. We were welcomed by Hans at the front desk who helped to check in for us. He was friendly and polite. the room that we initially got had some smell of smoke from previous guest probably. I went back to the reception and he helped to change and upgrade our room to a much better room on a high floor which was much appreciated. The breakfast wide variety of the hotel breakfast was also nice so there was much to choose from. I especially liked the tea section as there were lots of different teas (including flower teas) to choose from. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for tourists visiting Guangzhou.

Service of reception is bad ! Food is below average. Bellman doesn’t assist to carry luggage when we were arrive at main entrance ! Chit chatting there ! Reception staff talk to me without looking at me. Unprofessional !

My experience at this supposed 5-star hotel was disappointing. The check-in process took an unusually long time, and the front desk staff were neither professional nor friendly. Their demeanor was gloomy, and I didn't feel welcomed at all. The hotel required a hefty deposit, almost equivalent to the total price paid for the stay, with seemingly no fixed policies for accepting deposits. I had to negotiate to pay a lower sum, which was inconvenient. Upon arrival, I found the fridge in my room locked. I had to contact the front desk to send a staff member to unlock it, as if they assumed guests would take drinks without paying. The staff did not apologize for this inconvenience. The hotel's interior, both in the rooms and the lounge, felt outdated. Cleanliness did not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel, and the room size was considerably smaller compared to other hotels in Guangzhou. Additionally, the check-out process was slow, adding to the overall dissatisfaction with my stay. Disappointed. 100% would not recommend this hotel.

I would like to thank you all the services person who’s in the Double Tree Hilton hotel. Especially Jack Wu at the front counter, he helpful and well service.

Hotel location is good and the staff there are really helpful. However the hotel is a little old already.

Hotel was nice and easily accessible. I did not try the food as room service options did not seem interesting. Helpful front desk staff and room service came quickly to clean the room each day. Bathroom door lock seemed broken and room was quite cold (December stay). I was unable to turn the heat on, so I had to just keep the air off. Recommend bringing pajamas if you are traveling during the winter.

This is my first time here at china guangzhou. I will suggest this hotel to my friends.

Hotel experience was great! The service staffs were really friendly and helpful. Location is great as it is not too far from the various tourist attractions and airport. Would love to stay in this hotel when I revisit Guangzhou!

Good hotel in guangzhou, good staff angie very helpful, soft bed big room and nice bathtub

Hotel is very comfortable, the room is big and all amenities are good. Breakfast contains many types of food. The rice noodle dish , Guangzhou recommended dish, is so nice.
