One of the most pretty hotels in guanzhou, most service staffs can speak english. It was luxurious a d yet has a homely feeling as throughout the stay, free fruits and hot brewed drinks were served. All was well with exception to a room service order where I ordered mocha with oat milk and a juice. Only juice was delivered. Upon enquiring where is the coffee, staff said no oat milk so they only serve me juice. In every service delivery experience, they will contact me and further check if I want to proceed with milk which I will, but I was not given that option, the hotel staff decided for me I didnt want the coffee. When i asked why , they told me their coffee is too expensive maybe its not worth for me to drink … I was stunned at the reply.

Room interior design was great with high ceiling. High floor offers a great view of the city. Different types of tong shui will be served in the evening which is a lovely gesture. Basic gym equipments could be improved. Indoor pool could be wider as one side is occupied by the stairs. Breakfast is not worth the price. Poor variety and quality not great too.

The location of the hotel could not be better. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby and subway station a few minutes away.
The staff was outstanding and very helpful. Everyone was speaking good English and conversation was pretty easy.
The breakfast was not really good for a 5 star hotel. I missed more intercontinental options. And unfortunately we didn’t like the coffee.

I stayed at the tower suite.
Room: spacious and clean. with ample closet space, a vanity desk, and a separate drawing room
Bed: comfortable mattress / pillow
Shower: good water pressure. fast to fill bath tub
Service: staffs were helpful and attentive. they also provide a WeChat butler service
Location: central. walking distance to numerous restaurants
View: on 53rd floor. canton tower view

This is the only hotel I stay in when I am in Guangzhou because it’s the best. From the service to the amenities. However this time I came, there were no English speaking attendants during night times, for completeness it would be great to mix the workers those who speak English and those who can not so they can work together and get the ability to learn English easily if they wish.

I had stayed in top-tier hotels like Conrad, Park Hyatt, and MO before , but Jumeirah is truly best of the best. The room design, hotel location, and guest services are excellent, we enjoyed a memorable two night stay and feel like at home. we definitely will come back again when visiting GZ next time.
