Ji Hotel (Guangzhou Tianhe East Railway Station)

Convenient location. Room is comfortable, clean and minimalistic in design. Will return to stay when in GZ.

Booked my stay for 8 nights and below are my reviews. ISSUE 1 We were given the room facing the railway station and true to other traveller’s review, it IS NOISY! The constant honks of the vehicles can start at 7am till 12midnight everyday. When we entered the room on the first day, we tried to on the air-con for better ventilation but instead of cool air, warm air came out. Tried to adjust the settings but there was no change. Went to the reception to enquire but they mentioned they were not able to on the central aircon as it’s winter season and they would need to get management’s approval to activate it. what they could offer us was to open the one and only small window in our room. We told them we already opened it but it’s still warm so the other alternative is to provide us with standing fans which they did. Imagine us sleeping for 5 nights with the window open and the fans on, hearing the cars honks from 7am-12midnight. IT WAS TORTURE. Luckily on the 6th day, we enquired again and they finally activated the central air-con. Mind you the winter season in Guangzhou is totally different temperature than Shanghai or Beijing. There’s no need to off the central aircon at all. ISSUE 2 There were 20 floors in this hotel but there were only three lifts in this building. The lift space was small, could only fit 9 adults max in my opinion. The speed the lifts were going was also slow. Plus, you’re sharing the space with the service robots. So if you’re staying here, kindly cater extra waiting time. ISSUE 3 The rooms are not labeled non-smoking/ smoking room. So you could be staying in a non-smoking room but the room around you could be a smoking room. There were days where we could smell cigarette smoke in our toilet and unable to find the source. And there were days when we came out of our room to walk to the lift, the whole corridor smelled of cigarettes. I pity the cleaners having to use the humidifier everyday while cleaning the rooms. PLUS side - the room I booked was spacious. Could fit in four medium sized luggages with loads of space to walk around. - toilet was clean and spacious - there’s free bottled water provided and could ask for more - metro station is just below us. Conclusion, this would be my first and last visit to this hotel. Will probably stay somewhere away from the railway station in the future and will make sure to check with the hotels if their air-con is working. Not worth the price I’m paying for.

I had an excellent one-night stay at Ji Hotel in Guangzhou. The room was immaculate, cozy, and tastefully furnished, providing a quiet and restful environment. The highlight was the bathroom with its self-cleaning, warm toilet seat—such a luxurious touch! The room also featured a huge TV and four complimentary water bottles, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast offered a variety of Chinese dishes, plenty of fresh fruit, and a delightful, flavorful coffee to start the day. The hotel's convenient location near the train station made it incredibly easy to find and perfect for travelers. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Guangzhou!

Very very good, comfortable , clean, location very good , all staffs very friendly and helpful . i had stayed at Ji hotel twice but in different providence , both give me very good feeling and comfortable. Good. i will try to stay Ji hotel in others area if i travel there. hopefully is good too.

The location is right next to Guangzhou Tianhe East Railway Station Exit F. However, we arrive the station with 4 big luggages and had a hard time to lift them up along the high stairs of the station. The hotel should have given this info to the guests. Next to Guangzhou East Railway Station as well- just walk across the road. Breakfast had various choices however we stayed 2 night and the choices t are the same. Tr Apart from the above, were good. Excellent service front desk staffs, big laundry, clean and convenient room. Good shower.

A hotel with good hospitality that makes you feel very welcomed upon entering the lobby. The lobby has a nice tea smell and at the lobby the staff will serve you tea when you’re waiting at the lobby(you can also request yourself). The lobby is equipped with sockets for device charging. You can also store your baggage for free before & after checkup at their baggage room. They can also help you to receive and store parcels (e.g. from Taobao) up to 1 month. The room overall is very clean, all amenities are still very new as I heard they just renovated few months ago. The room is very much sound proof and you can only hear voices from outside when you are very near the room door. Room cleaning is top notch and the staff will refill the tea bags for you every day as there are tea sets in our room. The room has warm lighting and you can choose the level of brightness of the room. My room has 2 mirrors with lights. The sink is separate with the bathroom which is convenient when you are staying with more than 1 people. Would recommend to stay in this hotel as it has a strategic location which is super near to the metro station (less than 100m) There are also convenience shops and shops that sells food/breakfast at the same street. Check-in time is at 2pm and you can also delay check-out up to 2 hours upon request👍🏻 Mineral waters given every day after room cleaning is also more than enough, with 8 bottles of water every day (4 bottles in the fridge and another 4 beside the kettle). We can also get free smaller mineral waters at the lobby.
