Good place to stay, located in the historical center of the city. The rooms are clean and tidy, all amenities are available, cleaning every day, all the main places of interest can be reached on foot, quite convenient!

Booked because of the hotel business started in 2024😂. Room is fairly clean. Better than expected. Spacious too for solo traveller. Daily room cleaning services available.
There's a smell in the room corridor and the room.
Guess is because of the renovation.
But the smell in the room goes off after switching on the exhaust blower for quite some time.
Hotel location is located in an alley beside 上下九步街.
上下九步街 looks like a plaza, with a very spacious opening surrounded by lots of shop.
The alley itself is dark at night. But from the entry of the alley to hotel...give n take about 40 metres to 60m.
There are 2 entries to the hotel.
One alley tooks 40m to 60m, another is about 100m++ if you enter from the other side.
Overall good.
Lastly, ask for room upgrade on the checkin day but no room available for upgrade. Front desk promise to call me the next day if room is available. They did call me on the second day and inform me room is available, but I'm in the middle of the town somewhere far, so i turn down the offer.

Our stay in the hotel was pleasant! The room was clean and spacious and we had no problems. The only bad aspect is the little street where the hotel is located that at night could be dark and smelly. Apart from this, the location is convenient. As soon as you reach the main street (just in few meters) you can find many shops and restaurants.

It would have been 5/5 across the board but we added a night and accidentally booked a different room type.The first room was perfect. The difference in cost was only 20¥ because we booked via Trip.com. We were happy to pay the upgrade but they wanted to charge far more than difference online. The reception staff insisted we move room, the new room had cockroaches which was very unpleasant.

hotel CP ratio is high, nearby to shangxia 9 pedestrian street and Yongqingfang. Only that the alley walking to hotel is dark but not an issue walking at night. bed is comfortable and hotel room looks like new with good amenities. The reception staff is friendly too, check out is fast.
