Hotel was supposed to give free e-sim in China. But staff said NO. Service associates at frontdesk are not helpful at all. Don’t ask anything from them if you don’t speak Chinese. Breakfast was same every morning and I suggest no breakfast option. Location is okay and very close to Wanguo outlet. Also subway station distance is okay. Housekeeping and room cleaning was was good. For dinner, I found a newly opened small Japanese restaurant. I would like to recommend it if you are not good at Chinese meal. Meal was delicious and owner is very nice guy.

The location is good, but quite some distance for elderly people. If you are under, definitely do not hesitate. We love their bed not too soft not too hard, its big and we had great sleep every night! Bottles of water, towels, and room service are available every day during our five nights. A public refrigerator is available in the lobby, as well as cold and hot water. (There is also a kettle in the room.) breakfast is above average compare with price. Not fancy just rice porridge, bun, fruits, dimsim, corn and sweet potatoes. Same all 4 meals. English is not working here but we use our phone so it's find. Over all. We enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at Wanting Hotel (Jiangnanxi Station, Line 2) from April 21–25, 2025. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the metro station, making it convenient to explore Guangzhou. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious queen-sized bed. Staff were polite and helpful, although English communication was limited. Basic amenities were provided, and the Wi-Fi was stable. It’s a good budget-friendly choice for travelers who prioritize location and simplicity over luxury. I'd stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and booked two rooms. The rooms were extremely small. One of the rooms was full of cockroaches. The hotel building was very old, but it had a great location.

Cleanliness was a bit off, found some hair under the basin since day one and left it and it still wasnt cleaned until the last day, there was insects too. There was also leakage on that room and also wasnt repaired until the last day. Overall, it could have been better it was managed better otherwise it is a decent experience.

Hotel needs many improvements, breakfast offer only few dishes, no tea. Not recommended

The staff and service is very nice and very good. The hotel location is great too. No need to transfer to different line to go to the tourism spot. Many restaurant and mall near by. The room comes with toilet smell once in a while and the bed sheet is itchy which you can ask the counter to fix it. Anyway the price is very good deal.

Our 4-day family adventure in Guangzhou was enhanced by our stay at Wanting Hotel. Located close to a metro station, the hotel offered easy access to the city's attractions. Affordable prices made it a budget-friendly win, and the hotel staff were helpful and entertaining. What truly impressed us was the sparkling cleanliness of the room and the spacious bathroom, a welcome amenity for families.

The location is good, many food on this side of the street. The staff seem confused about foreigner information. The room is small. But we recommended this hotel.
