Guangzhou Yihe Hotel Apartment (Wanshengwei Metro Station Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center)

The place was very neat abd clean. Just 400 to 500 meters from wangshengwei metro statiin , which is just 1 stop from canton fair complex , and a very good view

This hotel completely ruined the first day of my business trip. The only positive thing I can say is that it’s close to the Canton Fair — about 10 minutes by taxi. Everything else was a nightmare. When we arrived, exhausted from traveling, we were given a so-called “room” on the 30th floor. It turned out to be an old, rundown apartment, not a proper hotel room. The furniture looked decades old, the place smelled strange, and it was clearly not maintained. I had a headache from the trip and just wanted to rest. After settling down, eating lunch, and lying down to take a nap, we suddenly got a call from the hotel staff saying we had to move immediately. They lied to our faces, saying the electricity would be cut off — which was completely false. Later, we realized they just wanted to rent the apartment to a bigger group because it had four rooms and we were only two people. They knew that before giving it to us! But they still forced us to move out in the middle of the day. We had to follow some staff member under the burning Guangzhou sun, walking 300 meters at 1:30 p.m., dragging our luggage, just to reach the new room. It was absolutely unacceptable. There is zero service in this so-called hotel. No room cleaning, no trash pickup, no basic hospitality. We had to take out our own garbage and look for a trash bin in the park outside. Completely ridiculous. When checking out after three days, it got even worse. The woman who checked us in wasn’t there, and the two staff members present refused to help us. We waited for about 20 minutes just to get our deposit back. They told us to “leave the key card and go” and promised to return the deposit later through Alipay. I had to remind them again to actually send it. This place is an embarrassment to the hospitality industry. It’s poorly managed, dishonest, unprofessional, and has zero respect for guests. ⚠️ Stay away unless you enjoy being lied to, forced out of your room, and treated like an inconvenience. The only good thing here is the location — and even that isn’t worth the headache.
