Coming from Monaco we decided to visit Grenoble yesterday 17.04/2022 First they give us a room which was occupied and after they dump us on the 5 floor with no elevator (my husband have bad heart) The room was in a very poor condition,very sad experience.

Comfortable large room overlooking Place Hugo, well located close to tram and city centre. Friendly helpful staff. It seems 3 floors are renovated and the remainder is in progress. Only downside is lack of fridge and coffee making equip.

The hotel was used for one night stay and in that way quite ok. Staff is helpful, but the hotel seems to need a refresh of the rooms. They are old, but clean- and that is the most important thing -also for 1 night stays. However; With a pedestrian area around it- we were not able to find the correct driveway to the entrance so we broke some rules( and were seen by the police- but no fees ). They must inform about this on their Net pages - at least tell about the nearest Parking garage - and how to walk from there to the hotel( approx 300 meters.). So the location in the middle of the city is superb - but hard to reach by car.

in many French large cities there is a Hotel. d'Angleterre. They used to be a reference in the 50's 60's. the pb is that the one in Grenoble has not done much renovation since. So great location but looks really. OLD. Won't go again till a serious renovation.

The location is perfecr as it is on central square and on tram lines. The staff were very friendly and helpful whilst the continental breakfast was very good both in quality and value. Rooms clean and simpe. A lovely stay

Je suis aller passer un weekend avec ma mère j’ai beaucoup aimé. La vue de ma chambre était magnifique Le petit déjeuner était très bon L’accueil était chaleureux On était bien placer pour visiter Grenoble. On a put garer notre voiture en sécurité dans un parking.

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Grenoble. Accueil au top.. Chambre confortable avec vue exceptionnelle sur le vercors. Peignoirs et chaussons à disposition. Hotel qui accepte les animaux avec bienveillance...gamelle et coussin mis dans notre chambre avant notre arrivée. Pdj qui vaut le détour, produit bio locaux et fermier...Merci à tt l équipe

Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre, accueil chaleureux, mais décoration datant de trop longtemps, la salle de bains est vieillissante et pas très aisé d’enjamber la baignoire, une douche à l’italienne serait plus adaptée à notre époque . Un rafraîchissement serait plus que souhaitable!

Hyper centre ok. Accueil chaleureux et souriant ok. Tarif hors de prix !!! 148e pour une nuit 1 personne ( sans petit déjeuner) Hôtel plus au goût du jour. La décoration et d’un autre temps. Sanitaire et salle de bain dans un placard : Difficile de prendre une douche correctement entre deux filets bouchés sur le pommeau. Hygiène limite. Dommage car idéalement situé dans une ville jeune et dynamique . Un rafraîchissement à prévoir pour conserver des tarifs si haut. Bon courage pour la suite…..
