La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Greensboro Arpt High Point

It was a small variety on the breakfast menu, but it was still delicious and free and filling. I Recommend enrolling in the rewards program.

The exterior of the La Quinta in Greensboro looked fine, and the entrance was welcoming enough. However, the experience went downhill quickly. After a long day of driving, we were met by a front desk clerk who was far from pleasant. Our room was a handicapped room at the end of the hall, which seemed like it would be quiet, but that was not the case. Upon entering the room, the peephole fell apart, leaving a hole in the door. The refrigerator didn’t work, and there were no basic amenities like soap or shampoo. The worst part was the constant noise from the door to the outside slamming shut all night. When we shared our concerns with the staff at checkout, they were indifferent and offered no solution. This was one of the most disappointing stays we’ve had, and we won’t be staying here again.

The room was clean,spacious and nice, No luggage cart available. No hot coffee available at 7.00 am for breakfast.

Super clean. Frendly staff. Decent breakfast digs. Nice indoor pool. Convenient parking. Comfortable bed. Stand up shower big enough for two if so desired. Heh... Free HBO and over 100 channels. Free wi fi.. A/C and heat work well. Great spot to rest from the road

First stay at a La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham. We chose based on business location and pet friendly without charging a bunch of unnecessary fees/deposits, etc. This location is close to the Greensboro Airport High Point as it states, so please don't be surprised of a few planes flying overhead (not a big deal). Also, there is nothing to do within walking distance because this seems to be a business district not a vacation spot. We only had to drive about 7.5 miles to restaurants/shops. The indoor pool and gym look inviting and clean. Breakfast could use a little attention as we stayed two nights and once a few biscuits ran out (for biscuits and gravy) we just used the gravy over the sausage. Usual powder eggs, but did offer waffles, bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, bananas & oranges. No regular creamer for coffee (coffee brand was Royal Cup - Excellent!!) The juice machine was not working properly (cranberry specifically). Coffee and ice water offered 24/7, which was nice. Again, no big issues, most important it was CLEAN, quiet for the most part, A/C worked perfect, no smell of pets, prepare to drive to get a bite to eat or any essentials, but great for a short stay! We will be staying at another La Quinta in Columbia, SC next so I will get pics of that hotel and review tomorrow :) OH, Staff here were very nice!!!

My room was not clean upon arrival. The pool isn’t heated. The building is not well maintained and has cracks and water damage etc. Then I couldn’t get out of my room because the deadbolt wouldn’t turn back after locking it the night before. I had to call for help to learn it’s an issue they already knew about and that my door doesn’t shut properly at all. It was all concerning

imaculatly clean, staff was lovely and helpful, Coffee anytime of the day, and verylovely for a 3 star hotel. The two little comments I can make is that they were not able to change over a $20 bill. That was inconvenient a bit, and the pillows were very comfortable although the bed was.

Our room had a broke toilet. We were given the plugger to try and get it unclogged, wasn't possible they didn't have another room and it take days to get your money back from the bank. Front night desk did try to get the toilet t handled no success tho but she was very sweet and tried! We ended up staying(not much of a choice). The next morning at the breakfast bar an employee lost her phone. She proceeded to come out where guest and their children were yelling one of these people stole my phone ( proceeding to point as us and two children) and stating I'm going to start patting these people down i'm get my phone back. A couple minutes later someone yelled for her to come here. She didn't come back out yelling so I'm guessing maybe her phone was in the kitchen. But that was horrible and in front of little children. Than when we went to check out I let the front desk person know our toilet start to laugh and joke about it. (later on I find out he's the manager) fast forward to Monday I call to speak to a manager (James, the person who laughed) is the manager. Who proceeds to say why didn't you tell me when you checked out. Considering you were joking about it I Didn't think you were a manager. Long story short the whole situation does seem to be a problem to the management I spoke with. And very nonchalant an employee acted in that manner and the room experience isn't a big deal. They emailed me my receipt still changing me full price.l've never had this experience at a hotel ever and the hotel doesn’t see anything wrong with our experience.

Had a clogged toilet and almost had to beg to be moved to another room. The receptionist couldn’t unclog the toilet and the gentleman on the phone didn’t seem like he wanted to come out. The elevators weren’t working properly. My husband and I got stuck 3 times. Had to climb 4 flights of stairs wasn’t good at all. My husband recently had total knee replacement surgery and I have a meniscus tear. Check out was awful. Staff member had to go outside twice to get the receptionist.
