This lodging was recommended by friends, and it turned out to be spot on. We chose the quiet, more laid back River Rock Inn in Green River as our staging point to see Arches and Canyonlands rather than the hustle and bustle of Moab. While it is 45 minutes to Arches, it was more than worth the extra travel. This converted motel is everything you’d want in a B & B — clean, well-appointed rooms; friendly and helpful innkeepers; and a wonderful breakfast. You can tell Greg and Tracy take a lot of pride in their property and the friendly service they provide topped off by a made to order breakfast each morning. For what you get, the pricing was fair as well. Great place!

Such a lovely getaway. The rooms are exceptional. So much attention to detail. The shower with stone flooring, a large shower head and great water pressure was a dream. Robes, coffee mugs, a Keurig coffee maker with raw sugar and creamers and classic refrigerator were so wonderful. The room was immaculate. We felt so special with Greg and Tracy, the owners, serving us a delicious breakfast and answering any and all questions about the area with suggestions of what to do. The registration area and breakfast room have so much history. They had a story for every piece of furniture and the creation of each room of the inn. It’s definitely a great family business with one of their son’s, Joe, welcoming us and giving us a tour of the inn and grounds. We can’t wait to return!

This B&B was a beautiful welcoming oasis in the desert. We traveled by train and River Rock is near the Amtrak station in Green River. Our room was large and really comfortable with everything we might need. The best part was the breakfasts with the hosts Greg and Tracy. Every morning Greg, the chef, offered up so many choices, Alf which were delicious….eggs, crispy bacon, French toast and pancakes. The breakfast room was friendly and cozy and the main lounge was beautiful and comfortable. We spent four nights here and totally enjoyed this place after our days out at Arches and Canyonlands in the 102 degree weather It’s too bad there are no car rental places in Green River. But with Toy Taxi in Moab helped us out, but that was expensive. Thank you to the owners of this wonderful place

We loved our stay here. Our room was amazing, with incredible attention to detail. Large, beautifully styled room. Nicest hotel shower ever. I'd stay here a hotel chain in Moab anytime. Close to grocery, bars, and restaurants. Owners worked on site and were wonderful hosts.

Great experience. Very cool place. Decor adds a personal touch and is quite quaint. The owners and staff were friendly and very pleasant. They prepared an amazingly wonderful breakfast! If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here!
