Booked to stay here two nights as with voucher Could say what it was like inside we couldn’t even get in never had code to get in So tried two numbers which were outside none worked if inside was like outside absolutely disgusting had to pay in another place for two nights So please people read reviews

No one on site codes and phone numbers to enter building didn't work Could not find room 24 It was outside the building in the dump of a courtyard Had to walk through a building site Found someone already staying in the room Number provided were rude and not helpful The person staying in the room said he was working at the hotel (spoke little English) and was using the room to live in, the company was unaware of this Second room was dangerous and disgusting

This hotel is absolutely DISGUSTING and I mean disgusting. It's like a HOVEL, or a SESSPIT. I wouldn't even expect a homeless person to stay in it. No wonder it's an unmanned hotel, so they don't have to deal with complaints head on. And if you are viewing it on any website, the pictures are nothing like the rooms provided. I'm absolutely covered in bites which weren't there prior to staying in this absolute hovel.

Shocking state of a hotel! It's filthy..don't think it's been cleaned for months..my slippers stuck to the carpet..the shower gurgles and bubbles up water from plug hole whenever you use hand basin..which had no plug....the tables are filthy..the beds are filthy and stained..the beds are uncomfortable and the pillows were useless! The sockets had burn marks surrounding them and balcony doors were not secure. The TV is tiny and the general state of hotel is run down and in need of lots of improvements. The only good thing about this place is the location and the WiFi.

Stayed at the Vila Rose for the August Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel is a complete dump Stayed in room 6 and my heart dropped the minute I stepped into the room. The room had a dirty carpet with holes in, the wall behind the bed had water marks running down it, the ceiling in the room had cracks and the door to the balcony was not safe as it could not be securely locked. The bathroom was tiny, with a shower cubicle so small you could hardly turn around to wash. The wall in the bathroom was also dirty with gross marks caused by the toilet splash, which means it is never cleaned! The top of the shower cubicle also had a nail sticking out, which is not safe at all. The TV in our room had no remote, which is just embarrassing, given the fact the hotel could have brought a universal one! The towels provided were dirty and the room was never cleaned during our stay, which is false advertising, as the website stated it is cleaned daily and the advertisement of Wi-Fi was false as you could never connect to the internet! The owner was lucky it is an unmanned hotel, as I would have made my feelings known! The pictures provided say it all

Great location. Minutes walk to seafront and town. Family room very spacious. Comfortable beds. Pillows a bit flat. Tea and coffee provided. Hot shower. Lots of tv channels. Only real problem, patio door didn't close properly so could hear noise outside. A few repairs needed, shower door a bit stiff, radiators marked but overall ok and pleasantly surprised after reading bad reviews.
