It was our anniversary and we decided a reasonable stay in GY for a week. I made one of the biggest mistakes in my life by booking at Belvedere Guest house and this is why: 1. The carpet in the room was so faded and never been cleaned 2. The bed linen when slept on gave an itchy sensation all the time (I am guessing there were bed bugs) 3. Basic amenity of warm water for bathing.The water from the shower was either freezing cold or boiling hot. A guy came to fix it after 3 calls to CS and fixed it for 5 mins. After he left, it was set back to square one. 4. There was no one to look after the guests at the premises. If there is a problem you need to call CS and wait for 30 mins for someone to show up or a call back . 5. The walls were stained and door knob was taped,the closet had no knob,the wallpaper came out at certain places,the toilet space was so crunched and very uncomfortable,the water from tap was awful. 6. Room was booked for 4 days,but Day 2 I decided to vacate (infact one Day 1 but since it was evening already I stayed up to next day 10 am). I got a refund of 40% of the total amount (which I am so grateful for). Now the atrocious part, the customer service kept calling me (6 times) to inform me about the refund and asked about my exp, I told them I was not happy at all and will leave reviews on the web, one of them was very sarcastic "even after we give you a refund,you will leave a bad review". Who the hell is she to tell me this. It was H&H hotels chain CS who catered this hotel.
