Premier Inn Great Yarmouth (Seafront)

Have stayed previously here , but we didn’t really enjoy our latest visit , the room felt grubby , there is stains on most materials , the bathroom plug was covered in grime , the carpet was grubby . It was very stuffy in the room , I am someone who likes to sleep with windows open , the windows in this hotel are are sealed shut , the air con didn’t help , as it sounded like running water and turned off after a while , We had a sea view room which was nice but again would have been nicer if there was some air flow . Location Is not to bad if you like walking , it’s about a mile or so down to joyland area , good for pleasure beach tho. Parking is first come first serve , most days was at least 6-10 spare spaces ( during half term) Breakfast wasn’t anything special , just a help yourself buffet of slop , luckily it wasn’t to busy , would be better if I he chef made omelettes to order .

Unfortunately not the best premier inn Stay i have had. Very disappointed. The room was so warm we were unable to sleep despite using the air con in the room, which was very loud also contributing to getting no sleep. We booked breakfast which we did not end up having firstly due to the lack of sleep we got. Secondly due to the unwelcoming feeling we got when we entered to purchase a drink the evening before. It took 20 mins to be served at the bar which wasn't overly busy and wasn't served in a welcoming manor. When we returned after an evening for a few hours. Our empty drinks were still on the table we sat at. We again waited at the bar a considerable amount of time, it wasn't busy at this point. Again greeted with an unwelcoming member of staff. I generally always stay in premier inn and have breakfast as I find the service and good rest I get really consistent. Unfortunately this time I was very disapointed and feel I had wasted my money.

Overall the room was a let down. Bathroom was not the cleanest as there was residue around legs of chair in the shower. Also the holes in the seat were dirty. (so much so ewe didn't use it) Breakfast was a major downer, all plates were not warm, and the buffet fry up was luke warm. Will not use this venue again.

I'm no food person alright. But it TOOK 21 minutes to be severd I literally time it but then they come over and say sorry the place is full . I said. I all respect you for saying that but I all ready had my food arrived and the place had like 20 free tables

Awful experience- the hotel has nose dived in the last 12 months. Family spent an amazing time there in 2023/24 but the recent trip was awful - rooms not cleaned unless requested and an outbreak of nova virus at the hotel the previous week resulted in our party being very ill and not able to enjoy the holiday - why weren’t people told if this outbreak and why weren’t rooms cleaned thoroughly and daily ?? Breakfast was a buffet and either cold or empty - previous years we had table service - just dreadful - don’t waste your time or money

£15 early checkin is a joke when the room is ready. Rooms so hot through the night. Breakfast was like something out of a western movie .... No cups no glasses coffee machine makes lukewarm drinks...and the list goes on..... How hard is it to have someone clearing tables there was plates full of half eaten food everywhere....no leadership as far as I could see.....the one good thing ....cooked breakfast was good better than the average beefeater breakfast .
