Timble Inn

What a lovely spot. Accommodation was to an excellent standard, the meals merited the two rosettes the Timble Inn has been awarded and to make the stay perfect, all the staff and the owner were both pleasant and helpful. We stayed in a room in the adjacent cottage, twenty or so steps from the main entrance. The room was on the first floor and beautifully appointed with a walk in shower. The cottage had a well furnished resident's lounge on the ground floor. The surrounding countryside is tranquil with good walks from the Inn as well as a number of towns and villages within a short drive. We only stayed three nights but we will be back. Just to note that in the winter period Timble Inn is only open Wednesday to Sunday, but check the website for full details. In conclusion, a great place to stay for a short or longer break.

A huge thank you to Enzo, Sarah, Nathan and Judy for making our wedding the most very special day. We couldn’t fault the food, service and special attention to detail. The chapel (100 yards from the pub), is just the ideal venue for a smaller, intimate ceremony, 20 persons in our case. Our pre meal drinks and canapés were served outside ensuring our younger guests could run around in a safe environment. The wedding meal itself was superb - we loved how much involvement we were allowed in the choices and delivery. The adjacent bar area was ideal for post meal activities and the icing on the cake was enough accommodation for everyone to stay over and enjoy a fabulous breakfast next morning. All in all an absolutely perfect weekend.

Service, food and rooms all fantastic ! Beautiful location to walk/ hike and explore further from. Comfortable bedroom and lovely little bar to enjoy pre dinner drinks. Quality of food and wine excellent. Will definitely be back again soon!

Visited last Saturday for lunch. Food cooked to perfection - lamb and salmon dishes followed by rhubarb and a cheese board. My goodness was it good. Great wine menu. Staff friendly and efficient. Couldn't fault it in any way. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Many thanks to Judith in particular who was so helpful.

Our daughter's and Paul's wedding was everything that we all hoped for at the Timble Inn. The ceremony was in the delightful little chapel which made it feel special. Enzo and his staff worked hard to make us all feel very welcome and ensure that everything ran smoothly. The meal after the ceremony in the evening was excellent. The accommodation is also excellent and the breakfast the following morning (or mornings as some guests stayed 2 nights) was very good. The setting is lovely in the very small and quiet village of Timble. Jessica and Paul were delighted with the whole event. We live fairly near and will definitely be going back for lunch soon.

What can I say! The most beautiful, welcoming, comfortable, enjoyable and tranquil stay. We came for a family wedding being hosted at the Timble Inn Chapel followed by a meal at the Inn itself.. the staff are incredible welcoming, polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was out of this world and fine dining standard. The rooms are beautifully decorated with every amenity you could need. High quality furnishings, service and food. I travelled 200 miles to stay for the family wedding and I wouldn’t hesitate to travel that again to stay here again. Thank you for a memorable, perfect stay!

We seek a different hotel each year to meet up with old friends.. always special places and usually in North Yorks. This year I’d say has proven to be the very best in all ways… comfort, service, staff and food. In addition the Timble Inn is set in absolutely beautiful countryside. A wonderful overnight stay at the Timble Inn. A warm welcome after a slow journey - lovely room- clean , airy, and everything you needed including fresh coffee and homemade cookies! Our evening meal in the restaurant was beautifully presented and of a high standard. A good wine list helped the evening along! The service throughout our stay was exceptional. A special mention to Housekeeping who sometimes get overlooked! - spotless room! - Thank you! Would certainly recommend the Timble Inn , professional, friendly and a perfect getaway ! Thank you all for a memorable stay.

We could not fault our room Beautifully renovated but keeping the old world charm. Bed so comfy and walk in shower super powerful. I am disabled and staff couldn't do enough for me I had requested a groundfloor room which was no problem.. Definitely recommend.
