Cheeky Monday off work & looking for somewhere to eat in the Cotswolds, found here and couldn’t be happier. Warm friendly welcome from the girl behind the bar, who sorted out drinks & menus quickly followed quickly by the chap who took our food order. Decided on pub classics, sausages & mash with other half having steak pie & marsh, neither disappointed as they were really tasty. Loved the atmosphere & authentic old pub, along with great staff & food, what’s not to love?

Visited the Falkland Arms at short notice on Sunday evening for a meal. The food was excellent and the service first rate, would most definitely recommend to anyone in the area. It's a charming old pub, with cosy little areas and a lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return to sample the rooms.

This lovely old pub definitely warrants a great review. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and could not do more to ensure we were comfortable and happy where we seated. Couple that with an absolutely delicious lunch in such cosy surroundings, we really enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

Perfect pub for a family lunch get together. We visited the pub yesterday and were so impressed. We had a really warm, friendly welcome, the food was delicious - we ordered a variety of dishes between us and they were all spot on (special mention for the cheese soufflé - sublime!), the waiting staff were attentive and helpful throughout the meal and the general atmosphere of the pub was just lovely. I really hope to return one day.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely meal here, in fact the best ‘pub grub’ we’ve ever had! My fish and chips were the best I’ve ever had, fish very fresh and batter and chips lovely and crispy! My boyfriend had beef and ale pie which again was lovely. Would highly recommend, quality food and great friendly service aswell!

Lovely old pub in a beautiful setting. A warm welcome for us and our two hounds. Our room was small but well-appointed, with a good selection of teas and coffee. The bathroom was newly refurbished and immaculate. Fabulous food for dinner and breakfast. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome.

First visit to the Falkland Arms and we will definitely be returning. A beautiful old pub, with a bustling yet cosy feel. We received a warm welcome and the table we had booked was waiting for us. The menu was varied but also included plenty of pub classics such as beef and ale pie and fish and chips. All four meals we ordered were absolutely delicious - full of flavour and served with a lovely selection of seasonal vegetables. The deserts were delicious too.

This really is a very good pub. Excellent atmosphere, with no purpose built dining room-just a proper pub with low beams and open fires. Very good menu and very good food. Staff are uniformly friendly and efficient and it is good value. What's not to like?

Great lunch yesterday at the Falkland with a close friend - lovely Brie and bacon sandwich and nicely kept local beer. Good choice of food options - lite bites or good mains. Superb log fire and great service in a beautiful village - recommended. Just the place on a nice autumn day.
