Premier Inn Gravesend Central

Very disappointed with this Premier inn. Initially the pub in from of it looks uncared for. The check in was OK (although booking via your central team was a nightmare). Entered the room, no TV channels worked. pesistal fan was extremely dusty, the heating could not be taken down. Reception just said a few rooms complained about the TV - must be an internet fault - no appologies just 'I can't do anything about it'. A poor nights sleep due to the heat in the room, we had already requested a sheet to sleep under. There was also a 'shodow' of dust around my phone and ipad on the shelf next to the bed, again signifying the room was not cleaned to a good standard. Black mould around the shower tray. In the morning, breakfast was through a fire exit of this uncared for pub. It was so dark and despressing dure to blinds being closed all round, don't know why. Coffee tasted fowl and my wife had tea, and the milk next to the drinks station was off. Cooked breakfast was poor and made worse by the fact we both felt sick asfter eating it and were physically sick a couple of hours later. I use Premier Inn a lot of times during a year and this has to be the worst one ever.

Rooms, lovely, plenty of car parking space, staff, really nice and friendly.....I've no complaints about the rooms, beds are so comfortable and I stay in a lot of premier inn for work and all over the country......the food however let's it down badly....the breakfast is ok I guess apart from the fact they can never make poached eggs as something is always broke🙄....the bacon is sloppy, personally I like my bacon to be cooked, well done as opposed to floppy....and cheap and nasty sausages, there's just no quality to the sausages whatsoever.....so cereal and toast it is then.....the dinner menu is about 4 things, fish and chips, pizza, macaroni cheese and tagliatelle.....it's pretty poor choice if I'm honest, my fish and chips came out before I even sat down, the chips were like wood, I thought surely that can't be mine that quick, oh yes it was....jeez, quicker than a McDonald's 😅......and then we have the residents that sit in the restaurant watching movies on their ipads, I'm like, really, sitting their with their KFC, it's a joke.....go and watch it in ya room....like I said the staff are really nice, but as for food, they fall very short of providing a decent dinner and the breakfast is tasteless in my opinion.....

Always have the BEST time here in Gravesend Central . We come at least once a year and Clo always looks after us fabulously ~ WE LOVE HER! The rooms are always clean and tidy, nothing is too much trouble for anyone. Karen looks after our breakfast needs and is always accommodating!

Very pleasant, warm and comfortable stay. Staff, particularly Lisa, were extremely welcoming, helpful and generous with the time spent. Facilities easy to use and access as well as being clean and functioning. Bed was most comfortable and supportive. No intrusion from traffic noise and situated adjacent to the open space of a park.

Good value, with parking and a short walk from restaurants and bars in the town centre. Hotel is very tired, rooms are being fraying, bedroom and bathroom requiring an overhaul. Overall, though, for value and convenience, this is still the best option in Gravesend.
