My Mum and I stayed here for a night, we wanted something special and we had a lovely experience! This hotel may be old but I felt that was part of the charm, especially because you can pick up a paper at the desk which tells you all about the history of it (including how Mae West had a room there!).
The man at reception was lovely, as were the bar staff, and we had a great sleep in a cozy, nicely themed room with a great bathtub. My Mum especially appreciated the Bible being left in the bedside table as well. That may have been done by a guest but it was nice that the staff left it there nonetheless in case somebody wanted to read it. There were a number of little touches like that, and we had a garden view which was lovely.
Also the breakfast was included in our booking, and well worth it! I'd recommend this stay for anyone looking to have a nice night in the Scottish countryside!

Amazing hotel in outer part of Inverness.. hidden Gem💎
* Hotel located in Country side
* Hotel built in 1897 itseems and renovated
* Receptionist lady, Restaurant people were very polite and helpful (Much appreciated. Thank you so much if you are reading)
* Free buffet breakfast is also very good with hot and cold items.. see photos
* Rooms also very good. Neat and clean
* Room contains basics necessitys like Kettle, tea, coffee,milk etc and bathroom items
* Small park in front of the hotel looks beautiful
* Many cark parking spaces available outside of the hotel, but we struggled coz we came very late

Loved the view, the room was clean and fine, but the lift was way down the other end of the building and several fire doors to get through, and nobody helped me with my bags.

Quiet and charming. Common areas of the hotel are run down but the rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was fantastic and very helpful!

A lovely hotel not far from the town.
Staff very friendly and helpful
Rooms basic but very clean and functional. Nice bathroom recently decorated .

This is an old hotel that needs upgrading. I left early in the staff were fabulous and getting me breakfast. Fine for a cheap night stay.

the hotel and bar/in house restaurant were great! Nice employees and good food. we ate in the bar at night and breakfast buffet in the morning. Our bathroom was updated and clean. The only downside, if you can call it that, was the lack of a laundry when it was noted as an amenity in the ******* listing. When we asked at the front desk they said they do not have or provide laundry services. Being limited on clothing and planning it out as our laundry location, that put a minor ding in our plans. But stinky us aside with no clean clothes for the morning, everything else went well at this hotel and I would come back.
