This is a wonderful hotel and the restaurant is five stars. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and nicely furnished. The beds are very comfortable.

A quiet place to stay. We arrived near dinner time, so had to ring the bell for someone to greet us at reception. Some facilities details could have been shared upon arrival (i.e. access after 10pm). The location is central and you can walk around town by foot. Breakfast is not buffet style, so you need to choose what you will eat next morning. The room was ok, comfortable bed, but the electrical shower was a bit disappointing. The view from the room in the morning was really beautiful.

Nice hotel in a nice little town. Great for daytrips and then returning to hotel for dinner. Really good food!

Lovely country style hotel. Food was amazing. Dinner was the best we have had in our 4 weeks travelling. Delicious lamb and chicken dishes. Breakfast was also excellent.
Rooms were spacious and bed comfortable.
Friendly staff. I would definitely consider staying again.

We got an attic room which was really hot. Bed was comfortable however the bathroom was small and the door was awkward to open and access the bathroom. Shower was average. Lighting was poor. Lead on hair dryer was not long enough to see a mirror.
On the positive side parking was good. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Staff attentive and friendly. It was particularly unusual to watch the live feed from an osprey nest.

It was last minute therefore we got the last room. The owner said it was cosy. The size didn’t bother us. However the windows didn’t open. It was room 2. We had. I fresh air! It was 25°overnight with a fan that blew the hot air around. Totally unacceptable and it should not be used as a bedroom.
