Archway House

Absolutely perfect place for a stopover or a short visit to Grantham. We loved the quirky accommodation and the location in the heart of Grantham, just 1 minute walk from St Wulfram's. Big TV, comfy bed, tea/coffee, iron and ironing board in the room, spotlessly clean. highly recommended.

Archway House is a Georgian Town house in a quiet part of Grantham. My room was very comfortable and well appointed, and overlooked the large well-kept garden. The house has a very quaint charming character and would make a perfect base for anyone staying in the area. Breakfast is provided at a nearby restaurant.

We had a very comfortable stay with our 3 children in a family room. It is not often we can find a quintuple room when travelling and after need to book 2 rooms. Bathroom had both a shower and a bath, perfect for younger families. We will book here again when visiting Grantham.

We booked the twin room which gave us 2 x 3ft beds and we had a memorable night's stay. We had everything we needed in the room to include comfortable beds with and an excellent shower with hot water. Marius was a superb host and was on hand to answer any queries. Parking in the council carpark close by is free on a Sunday and Bank Holidays. We had breakfast close by the next morning at 11.30 at the Kitchen and Coffee cafe on West Gate street. Highly recommended. Thank you.

A superb guesthouse in a town centre location. We loved the room decor, very bold yet cosy. Rooms were very well equipped. Lovely covered terrace and a garden area at the back. Our new favourite place to stay in Grantham. We will definitely book here again when in Grantham.

We recently stayed at Archway House in Grantham and it was absolutely lovely! Definitely the best bed and breakfast in town. The hosts were super welcoming and made sure we were comfortable right from the start/ The room was clean and cosy. We loved the colour scheme in our room and the fact there was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board and a TV with Netflix. It was well-located, about 2 minutes walk from High Street and Market Place. Definitely recommend it for a relaxed and friendly stay.

I recently stayed at the Archway in Grantham and it was a really pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful and my room was comfortable an d clean. It had everything I needed, including iron and ironing board. The location is amazing, right in the middle of the town. It was a great value for money. Highly recommended.

I was in Grantham with my partner for a family party. I'm actually from Grantham originally, so know the town very well. To be honest, most of the hotels in the area aren't the best in the world and very run down in most cases. So, I was pleasantly surprised by the Archway. It's in a great position with a large car park just next to it (free to park after 6pm and on Sundays). You're pretty much in the centre of town as soon as you walk out the door. It's a listed building, so old wooden shutter windows, but we didn't have any issues for our stay. Even with the road just outside. The room was very nice, a reasonable size and actually resembled the online photos. A real bargain for the £50 we paid to be honest. We were welcomed by the owners, who made sure we were comfortable. Our trip was a rushed affair, so we didn't try out the breakfast, but I got the impression that it would have been extremely good given the attention to detail for other elements of our stay. I'd definitely recommend staying at the Archway if you need a bed in Grantham.

What a great find. I really liked my quirky room at the top floor. It was very cosy and quiet, overlooking the courtyard and had everything I needed on my short trip. Being in the town centre it was a great value for money. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone tired of the local chain hotels.
