Hotel was advertised very wrongful as ,location is OK, but Bar below with very dirty rooms, smell of urine, alcohol and a room with common/ detached bath rooms , we just entered at 1st floor after payment and returned back to ground floor in next 5 minutes. Very very dirty rooms, in fact don't need to put on *********** or trip.com. We changed our mind ,booked room in Premier Inn, 1.5 miles away at a price difference of only 5 pounds and hell of difference in amenities. They refused to return/ refund any money, even not 50% , rather threatened me to leave the hotel/ bar quickly/ quietly. I never imagined I am in UK 🇬🇧 hotels, rather a backward country, for just 50 pounds they were so furious, in the end I never ever recommend anyone to stay there ,in same price you will get Room in Premier Inn,travelogue nearby with attached bathroom.

Amazing place and even more amazing staff was very well looked after can’t recommend enough will definitely be back Lovely fishing spot and lovely cottages well worth every penny Great for fishing and great for a bit of peace and quite in beautiful surroundings

Pleasant stay in clean newly decorated room with basin and plenty of Yorkshire tea! Friendly hosts and locals. Television needs checking as I could only get one station! Nothing else to criticise!

It was cheap. If you come late and go away early(as we did), for 1 night it's ok. It's clean and friendly as it can be. But all around so old and need some refurbishment. Communal showers and toilets can be complicated.
