What a lovely one night stay! Jackie is so warm and welcoming and our room was beautiful, perfect as a base for a visit to Rogan & Co in Cartmel. Everything was clean and fresh and we had a delicious breakfast served to our room at our requested time. The house is huge and Jackie very kindly showed us round one of the suites, which was amazing with lounge, kitchen and sauna! Would we stay again? Definitely YES! WARNING: The hotel had two couples book two suites for the night we were there. It was discovered they'd registered with a fraudulent credit card. They turned up and were asked to pay upfront for their stay and due to Jackie's eagle eye and questions, they ended up scarpering clearly having no intention of paying! So, to anyone reading this review who think that they can con a stay out of a hard working couple with a small business, don't bother, you'll get found out!

Owners are confident in themselves but can’t run a hotel for toffee. They think they are the best in business but have a lot to learn. I warm to most people but Jackie and Nigel should go and crawl back under the stone they came from……………………………….

Unexpected steps to climb before the entrance, Room was clean and fresh, but decor a bit mismatched. The jacuzzi bath was lovely but smelt strongly of chlorine. Bathroom needs a sliding door for coming out of the shower is in clear sight oh the windows. Did not like texting breakfast. Breakfast was well overcooked on the first day. And eggs hit and miss. It's was a nice stay and convenient. But expensive for what it is.

We stayed at the Grange Boutique Hotel for one night. We received a warm welcome from Jackie along with excellent recommendations on where to eat that evening. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious - lots to choose from and locally sourced. Jackie and Nigel run a fantastic place - we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

What a welcoming place! When we booked the hotel for a single night we were amazed to get emails within a short time detailing local places to eat and contact details for local taxis. We decided to hold off until we arrived. Jackie greeted us, took us to our room and, based on what we wanted to eat, recommended the Pheasant in neighbouring Allinthwaite. It gave us the chance to get a good walk there, great meal and a taxi back to our room which was fabulous. Well appointed, so many nice touches. We had ordered breakfast for the next day and it did not disappoint! Cooked fresh to order (the order was texted to Jackie the night before - nice touch). Food was superb. In all fabulous value for money, welcome is friendly and genuine. We loved the place and would book again.

From parking up Jackie was so helpful and friendly, came to greet us and showed us to our lovely room, explained everything we needed to know, recommended plenty to do on the evening. Room was pristine and so worth the price. Comfy, homely, clean, spacious, just perfect. Breakfast was outstanding, we got the full English & Nigels signature breakfast and they were amazing (highly recommend Nigels breakfast!!). Thank you so much for a relaxing night, just what we needed! Good location not far from plenty restaurants too.

We had a wonderful night at the Grange Boutique hotel! Jackie and Nigel were both so accommodating and kind, going the extra mile to make sure we had a fabulous stay. Our room was stunning! Jackie sorted transport to Cartmel and back for us with Nigel, and the breakfast brought to our room in the morning was exceptional. Jackie was informative about where to go in Grange and in general her smiley and welcoming attitude made the stay all the more enjoyable. Thank you both again for a lovely stay!

From the moment we arrived until we departed Jacquie was committed to making our stay comfortable and exceeded all expectations. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated with a fabulous jacuzzi bath. Jacquie gave me a tour of the hotel the next morning and all the rooms were stunning, impeccably designed, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities and much more…some of the rooms had infrared saunas!! Small touches, like fluffy dressing gowns, slippers and fresh flowers with our delicious breakfast, served in our room, made our stay extra special. Quirky and wonderful! Jacquie is clearly dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction and we will definitely be back!!❤️

This beautiful B and B surpassed all expectations. Gorgeous funky modern decor, luxurious bathroom and our own kitchen and living area were an unexpected upgrade. Scrupulously clean and comfortable throughout with top notch breakfast choices - well cooked, hot, using locally sourced ingredients and delivered to our room - Nigel’s kimchi special is inspired. Superb attention to detail with a warm and knowledgeable host in Jackie - nothing was too much trouble. Seriously impressive. A perfect base for a walk along the promenade or through the lovely town (we visited thyme out and the chocolate shop) and for a trip to Cartmel.
