The property overall was very clean and welcoming. Our problems started before we got to the hotel. we received a notification saying they couldn't load our digital key (which we always use and bypass the desk). When we arrived, we were told the room wasn't ready and that was why the key didn't load. Thank goodness a mall with aTGIF was across the street. 3 hours later we went back to the desk and were told by a differant girl that someone was in the room we had checked into on line. So, we got a differant room on a differant floor and were handed plastic room cards. Well, do not plan on using a digital key here, as we were told repeatedly this was an energy efficient property. You NEED the plastic key to put in a slot to keep the lights on. So, the digital key arrived after we had checked in AT DESK and gotten plastic cards. Also, we were unable to use our firestick (which we have used at many hamptons) due to poor connectivity.... The breakfast was good, but for some reason, the coffee was not. I think this Hampton is having some sort of system issues..as we encountered, and I would like to know how Hilton will get around the "digital key" if you need a plastic one for the power in the room..the whole system we usually use at hilton properties was a big failure here..we wasted our time picking the room, checking in on the app..etc.. These "green" hotels need to figure out a fix.. so instead of our normal go right to the room with the app, we made 2 stops at the desk and a phone call..How GREEN is that?
