The Pinewood - Adult Getaway by the Lake

A home away from home! The room was spacious, clean, and prepared just for us. Quick and easy check-in and check-out. It truely felt like we were apart of the family with Kim and James, they welcomed everyone with open arms. Our three pups were so excited to explore and settle into a huge room with lots of space for all of us. The best part? Beach access not even a 10 minute walk down the street. We will definitely be spending our summers at the Pinewood from now on.

Very clean and well mantained The owner has out done herself with many little added touches that makes this place feel very welcoming and its really close to the best beach in Ipperwash We will be back next year

Nice quiet location south of Pinery Prov Park, with a nice area of picnic tables and property for exercising the dog. Small, but nice pool area. Our room 6 was clean, with a large frig, coffee machine, MW, some kitchen ware (a nice touch, but only 1 plate and 2 sets of utensils for the 3 of us) , bottled water and some snacks. The large washroom could have used additional towel rack and hooks as there was no counter space. Shower was large with ample pressure and hot H2O. Curtain rod needs to be moved inward to prevent H2O going onto laminate floor. Had a problem with the wall HVAC next to the window which made a loud grinding type noise which woke us up around 6am both mornings. Fortunately only lasted ＜30 min. My son's clothes which he left on the floor near this unit / window was also soaked when he went for fresh clothes after the first night. Coffee supply should have been replenished after the first night. You are also expected to clean up and remove garbage before leaving. Despite the problems we enjoyed our 3 day stay.

Excellent extended weekend get away. Adult only! Very clean large room. Fridge, micro, hot plate, coffee pot, toaster, dishes supplied. Clean pool and short walk to dog friendly beach. Mid way between Sarnia and Grand Bend. Will definitely return.
