Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury

We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks in early November. The short version of that it is absolutely flawless. Stunning views, rooms and the service from everyone was amazing. The hotel is boot cheap, but definitely value for money, if you're thinking about booking, there is no need to hesitate at all :) Emirates Business Class We flew out and back on Emirates and stumped up a big whack of money on business class. I have mixed feelings with the service from Emirates sadly. The flight out was pretty dismal in terms of service. The food options advertised weren't available for my wife's seat, but were for my side of the aisle. Not great considering what we paid and the attitude around it wasn't great. Emirates should be doing better than that in this day and age, you expect tui not to have food available, not fly better Emirates! Coming back to the UK was much better though in fairness. Unless prices come down significantly, we'll probably use an alternate option. Helicopter Transfer We paid for a helicopter transfer to the hotel and this was amazing. We were collected by a member of the helicopter company straight on the air bridge from the plane and taken to airside where our luggage bar codes were noted so they could locate our suitcases straight from the plane. While that was happening, we were collected by a bmw and taken to the helicopter terminal where we were provided face towels, drinks and food while immigration was handled by our dedicated member of staff. 10 minutes later, we passed through private security in the terminal and were driven to the helicopter, where we were lucky enough to be allowed to take photos, safety briefing provided and then off to the hotel. Our pilot was amazing, pointing out areas of interest and the flight took about 20 minutes. Our suitcases followed us by road so took a little while to arrive at the hotel, which we didn't expect, but no big dramas. If you're considering this, we really enjoyed it, maybe pack swimming stuff in hand luggage so you're not stuck waiting for your suitcases at the hotel (rookie mistake I know). Hotel The hotel is spectacular. As we landed on the helipad, we were met by 2 members of staff from reception / guest services and given fresh flowers and face towels before being walked to our hotel room, where check in took about 5 minutes. We had booked an ocean suite and they kindly upgraded us to a palm suite with direct access to the pool area and beach beyond. We were given 108 and this room was huge with separate sleeping and living room and a walk in wardrobe area in the massive bathroom, english sockets and usb chargers by the bed. Lovely terrace area overlooking one of the pools and the beach beyond. We would recommend this room, it's in a lovely spot in the hotel. We were given so many little extra things it was amazing. Came for our honeymoon from 13th to 15th of Aug 2024 and stayed in suite 306,the 2 nights we stayed were flawless. Checkin was lovely, we had to buy trousers for my husband for dinner as he had only shorts, size was perfect but length wasn't , Michaela from the shop voluntarily adjusted the length and send the trousers to our room. Moving on to food and beverage team, Vijay from La Goélette was very nice, helpful and made sure we were alright. Kevin from room service was courteous. The following night we had dinner in Asiya restaurant, spoke to one of the Chef, can't remember his name, I requested to add tofu to my dinner,despite not having it in the Asiya restaurant, to my surprise i got served a scrumptious tofu padthai. Food service was really nice, special mention to Prakash who went to the extra mile during service. We wish to thank the sommelier, she was very charming and was very helpful. All staffs we've met in the restaurant, be it for breakfast and dinner were exceptional, they all knew our name and took good note I was vegetarian. Moving on to other staffs from spa boathouse and beach boy Davisen were all exquisite. Being a Mauritian, i really appreciated we were treated equally and we felt important as I've had experience where i was treated differently. Writing this review was a must. My friends and I recently spent our vacation at this hotel, and we had the warmest impressions! The hotel itself is beyond praise: cozy and spacious rooms, magnificent views of the ocean, well-kept grounds and excellent cuisine. But the most important thing is the people who work here. I would like to express special gratitude to Elena, who became a real guardian angel for us throughout our vacation. Elena is an example of true professionalism and sincere care for guests. She not only helped us with any questions and requests, but also created an atmosphere of comfort and warmth that is impossible to forget. And how she organized our small family holiday 🥂!! Special thanks to her for this ❤️ Elena was always ready to offer the best recommendations for excursions, restaurants and local attractions. She easily resolved any organizational issues, helping us to completely relax and enjoy our vacation. In addition, her friendliness, tact and sincere smile lifted our spirits every day! We are truly grateful to Elena for her attention, care and amazing attitude. Thanks to her, our vacation became truly special. If you are going to stay at this hotel, be sure to meet Elena - she will make your vacation unforgettable!
