The pluses: rural location - not far from the beach - and stunning scenery. The area around the pool and in the gardens was relaxing, surrounded by fruit treas, and dotted with sunloungers, tables and chairs, and beds. The pool itself was lovely, clean, refreshing. Staff we spoke to were kind, friendly and very helpful - particularly Hüseyin on the front desk (a big shout-out to him, he was great); the young man who seemed to work mostly in the restaurant; and the older man who, I believe, was the chef. These staff members made it a pleasant stay. Excellent breakfast - really, very, very good. On the day that we went on a tour that left at 5:20am, we missed breakfast but, without even being asked (though they checked with us), they put together and left for us a very generous packed breakfast that actually had enough food to last us all day. The minuses: the bathroom was not particularly clean (I made the mistake of looking at the exterior side of the toilet when bending down to pick up soap and wish I hadn't, it was very grimy). The pedal bin in the bathroom was similarly grotty-looking. Nobody cleaned the room or changed the towels the whole 9 days we were there, though they might have given us fresh towels if we'd asked, to be fair. The shower flooded across the floor of the bathroom as there was no shower space at all. No hooks to hang any clothes and no shelf above or near the sink to put contact lens solution etc on. The only (small) towel rail was situated just above the toilet, meaning that, even when folded twice, the towel hung down the back of the toilet and, given the general griminess of the bathroom, I don't want to think what transferred itself to the towel as a result. It was nice to have a balcony, but it is a shame that as soon as we tried to gently move the table a few inches, one of the table legs fell off. Noise: most days, there was loud (loud!) dance music played in the pool area - often from late morning until about 11:30 at night. This made it impossible for us to use the pool for much of the time. Unfortunately, the music was a constant thud, thud, thud in our room as a result, even with heavy-duty ear-plugs in. Hüseyin offered to let us change rooms to a 'quieter' one, but the issue was not so much the noise in the room but that around the pool area. Sometimes when there was nobody there (which calls into question their assumption that the guests like the music; in fact, I noticed the music was often switched on when one of the staff were cleaning the pool or doing a job in that area). There were, admittedly, some days when the music was not switched on until late afternoon and on those days, it was blissful lying by the pool, listening to the natural sounds of the breeze through the trees, the distant cock crowing etc. If the hotel could keep the music to certain days and times - and let guests know when the pool would be noisy and when it would be quiet, then this would cater for everybody and allow people to p
