Mathraki Resort

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments in this lovely hotel and it was so nice. We really appreciated the fact that it was family run, it felt a lot more personal than bigger hotels. George, Maria, Nikos and Dimitris were always on hand and ready to help with anything. The apartment itself was very comfortable and the pool area was very calm and relaxing. Super comfy pool beds and best of all, no sunbed wars. The bus stop that goes to Corfu town is at the end of the road, with the bus stop for the green bus only minutes away. Thank you to all for a lovely stay, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Mathraki Resort is perfect in every way. Rooms are equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including comfortable beds! Pool area is lovely and the gardens are just beautiful. Great inspiration for our garden at home :) Fantastic menu with delicious food, all beautifully presented. George, Maria, Nikos & Dimitris are just lovely. So friendly and welcoming. Between them they have created a beautiful haven of tranquility. Thank you so much ❤️

Accommodation was lovely with great facilities such as the pool and taverna. Wonderful and friendly hosts. The location was perfect. It is close to a mini market and the bus stop to Corfu Town as well as the bars and restaurants of Gouvia. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Mathraki Resort as a family with two children (ages 10 and 13), and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. We have truly never been welcomed so warmly and openly before! It felt more like visiting friends than checking into a hotel – and that heartfelt, family-run atmosphere stayed with us the entire time. The resort is beautifully designed – everything feels fresh, new, and modern, yet it still retains a traditional and cozy charm. You can see how much love and care has gone into every corner. The pool was an absolute highlight for our kids, and we parents also enjoyed the calm, relaxing surroundings. We didn’t have breakfast every day, but when we did, it was a real treat. We especially loved the Mathraki omelet and the creamy Greek yogurt with honey – simply delicious! We were only there for a few days and spent a lot of time exploring the island. Looking back, we wish we had spent more time just relaxing at the resort – it was that lovely. One thing is for sure: we will definitely be coming back, and next time we’ll stay longer! A heartfelt thank-you to the entire Mathraki family – your warmth and hospitality made our holiday truly special. We can’t wait to return! 💛

First impressions at entrance was really good, gorgeous exterior, well lit up. Met on arrival by Nikos. Really friendly and showed us to our apartment. We were able to check in before arrival so this also saved time. We booked a 2 bed apartment overlooking the garden. Apartments were clean and tidy and maintained daily. Lots of wardrobe space, nice big fridge and freezer and large balcony area. Small kitchen, only downside to apt was no lounge area but large balcony balanced this. Pool area was immaculately clean and always had loungers available. We had breakfast lunch and dinner on different occasions in the tavern and the food was always delicious and fresh. Really good variety on the menu to suit all. Also had a great range of drinks. For a family run business, there was always someone available if you had any questions queries, I found them all to be always polite and helpful even during busy times. The complex is about 5 minute walk to gouvia centre where there are lots of restaurants, bars and the beach. The bus stop is only a 2 minute walk and brings you directly into Corfu Town and also can bring you to ther towns and beaches along the route. Good Central location. Overall would highly recommend.

Our second year returning to Mathraki resort. Fantastic family run resort, catering to your every need for a perfect holiday. Lovely apartment, cleaned daily. Fabulous pool area and great food served in the family run restaurant. Thanks to Nicos, Dimitri, George and Maria for giving us a wonderful holiday, will definitely be back.
