Taskonak Hotel

Amazing hotel with very clean and beautiful rooms! It is located close to the center of Goreme and has an amazing terrace for breakfast and overlooking the hot aur balloon flights! The owners love to have a chat with the guests and are very helpful and kind, I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Breakfast is also delicious!

We booked this beautiful hotel directly with owners. Their customer service via email regarding information on hotel and services was exceptional. All our tours and hotel transfers were booked by Angela the owner and we would do it again. We loved our deluxe cave room which is located on ground floor. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed including shower gels, shampoos etc. the breakfast on rooftop was delicious and we loved the local ladies cooking and serving breakfast. We cannot explain how wonderful our stay was and the view of GÖREME was amazing.

I posted the review below when I stayed at the hotel in May 2024. I came back in June 2024. Nothing had changed. It was still perfect in every way! Forget Goreme or anywhere else. Uchisar is the place to base yourself in Cappadocia and the Taskonaklar hotel is THE place to stay. This hotel is perfect. The location is easily the best in Cappadocia. The rooms are amazing! Really! The people that work here are beautiful, polite, professional, efficient and very friendly. The food is wonderful! The service is incredible. Nothing is too much trouble. Any and all trips and tours can be arranged by the hotel. Booking through them will ensure the best quality and make the whole process easy. I’m not great with names but the stand out people for me are Dolunay who greeted me on arrival, gave me a great tour of the hotel including my room. She continued to be so helpful, and kind throughout my stay and made it memorable for me. A shining star! Ali the food and drinks manager is a great man. He is super friendly, knowledgeable and very very good at his job. To EVERYONE else - you know who you are - a huge heartfelt thank you. I’ll be back here as often as I can. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE BEST TIME ❤️

I stayed in Taskonak Hotel with family for two nights. It was an amazing experience there in Cave Hotel, Very good location, good management and good employees. Breakfast was nice , the view from their terrace also was nice. My overall experience was very good.

Strategically located at the heart of Goreme. Room ambience and connectivity are good! Breakfast was adequate enough. Rooftop was splendid! Not many people know this hotel hence you will get nice view!

Taskonak is owned by a lovely Turkish/Australian couple who go out of their way to help their guests at every opportunity. The cave rooms are lovely and cool even when it’s stinking hot outside. We had a delicious breakfast on the sunny, flower filled terrace each morning. Taskonoak is 5-10 minutes walk to lovely restaurants and the view of the balloons at sunrise from the terrace was fantastic. The staff were lovely and helped us to organise an incredible balloon flight (even when spots were very scarce), organised laundry to be washed, helped carrying bags, checked in on guests regularly, organised taxi’s, organised tours and booked the best massage experience of my life when we went for a hamam nearby. Just book with them- you won’t be disappointed!

Loved this hotel. Location was great - a choice of terraces to sit outside and enjoy a beer or watch the balloons in the morning, really lovely staff and it was great to meet Angela. Loved our time there.

Nice little guest house. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic. The location is great for morning views of the hot air balloons and also just 5min walk to the town centre. Highly recommend this cozy place.
