D Resort Gocek Special Category

Stayed for a week at the end of September/October and it was perfect from start to finish. The resort is fantastic, grounds are amazing, cool/clean rooms, nice terrace with awesome views, excellent gym, lovely breakfast, good pool, v’air nice beach and can’t praise the staff highly enough. Weather is perfect too (30’ish degrees) and we spent a few days by the pool and a few days on the beach (15 minute walk). The hotel also have lots of bikes which are free for guests and we took them out day and cycled along the coastline. Watch out if there are any weddings in the centre as they are VERY loud but finish by midnight. The hotel is literally a one minute walk from all the action, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Gocek. We will definitely be returning!

First time at the D-Resort hotel but I have been to Gocek many times. The hotel is beautiful and my family and I we were given a warm welcome, the valet was very helpful with all of our luggage. Reception staff spoke good English and helped us with all our enquiries. We booked a Deluxe room and the bed was so comfortable with an option of choosing your pillow, If this is your desire to do so. Fully air conditioned and a good sized room for two adults and a child. The breakfast buffet has a great variety of choice for all guests. My favourite was the fresh omelettes and pancakes with Nutella - yummy! Breakfast starts from 7am till 11am. The pool is kept very clean and the beds are always given fresh towels by staff after being used by guests. The surrounding gardens are kept at a high standard and are a two minute walk from the main area to our room. There is a private beach for guests which is a 15 minute walk or an option of renting a bike from the hotel or a golf buggy to take you there(5-10 minutes). The beach is kept clean as well as the toilets, baby changing and restaurant area. You are a 2 minute walk from the main area of Gocek if you want to venture out for an evening meal. I recommend West, a great selection of food with a great relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I travelled with a 1 year old and the hotel accommodated our stay, we loved the baby shampoo and toiletries given to us, a beautiful touch - thank you. I highly recommend this hotel to families and couples who are looking for a peaceful stay and wanting to soak up the beautiful Turkish culture. The staff were amazing - thank you / Teşekkürler.

This was our first visit to the DResort and won't be our last. Our room, whilst classed as Superior had a very disappointing view of a hedge, but apart from that, everything else was excellent. Fabulous bed, pillows, towels, toiletries, breakfasts, obliging staff and a great beach which went to each day of our 8 day visit. Stunning views of spectacular yachts, a warm ocean. Loved it all. Gocek is great for restaurants and bars, with a nice 'upmarket, but laid back' vibe. We will definitely return but shall ask for a room in a different block next time as other guests, who had paid the same as us, had been accommodated in rooms with much nicer aspects. However, the DResort is a true gem of a hotel and deserves its many accolades.

The fact that this is our 4 th visit in 5 years ( pandemic year was the gap) say it all about this hotel. I describe it as our easy holiday . Situated a half hour drive from Dalaman airport, literally minutes away from restaurants , shops, marina with staff who can’t do enough for you, it is perfect for a chilled break. It has a lovely pool for all to use but also some which are attached to rooms . We have a basic room which is comfortable, clean and has every amenity, and is near the pool . The only downside is that you are near the call to prayer from the nearby minaret at 4.30 am but the hotel does provide earplugs and most mornings it didn’t affect our sleep. Breakfast is incredible with so much choice of food including different breads ,eggs. salad, freshly cooked dishes including pancakes, crepes,omelettes. The hotel is modern with one of the best gyms I have ever worked out in, …and I have been to gyms all over the world in five star hotels . The only piece of equipment missing for me is a spin bike so maybe if management read this you will get one for next year! The beach is a short walk away or a three minute buggy ride. However this year we stuck to the pool. Water is freely available with two large bottles in the room daily and two small ones at night. We also love that as repeat guests we were valued and welcomed with some extra surprises in the room at the beginning and mid holiday. Some hotels , like Carlisle Bay in Antigua, should take note ! I love this hotel and its staff and can’t wait to return next year.

On arrival, it was the most professional, pleasurable & welcoming we have experienced in a long time. The customer service (reception, room service, gym, spa, beach) was consistently outstanding, nothing was too much bother. They even have a dedicated WhatsApp number to message at all hours for assistance and the response was always instant. The Gym & Spa was excellent and the beach is only a short walk away along the Marina. You can even WhatsApp them for a lift to the beach in the golf buggy if you are not feeling like a walk! Breakfast was always exceptional. For us, its always the small things that make the difference, on my wife's birthday hotel staff came to our room with a bottle of wine & cake along with a hand written note wishing her Happy Birthday. I truly cannot say anything much more other than an amazing experience all round. We are leaving feeling fully refreshed and truly grateful.

Our experience at G Resort was outstanding. The property, accommodations and service were first rate. We spent three nights. A special compliment is in order for Arana and her reception colleague, Ramadan. Their hospitality from check-in to departure made us feel valued.
