Strath Lodge Glencoe

We stayed for 2 nights in April. The rooms are immaculately clean and well appointed. The place is quiet and comfortable in a country setting. The shower and beds are good. The breakfast is high quality and very good. (Try the porridge, it's the best in Glen Coe. ;)). There is a path with beautiful views along the lane that you can walk to a pub and restaurants. I've included a picture and the flowers all around were just blooming and part of the path along the brook.

Lovely room in a wonderful house and setting. The breakfast was cooked to perfection each morning - the porridge is highly recommended. Location is central to all the tourist sites we wanted to visit. Our stay couldn’t have been better and we will definitely stay there again.

Exceeded all expectations. A very warm welcome from Dawn, extremely comfortable room and superb breakfast. Spotlessly clean and excellent advice on things yo do in the area. Restaurants recommended were good. Would certainly return again. I would highly recommend.

Strath Lodge is the perfect place to stay while visiting around Glencoe. Dawn and Lawrence are wonderful hosts and take great care of their beautiful lodge. Our room was very spacious and immaculate. Breakfast every morning was amazing and plentiful. From the homemade porridge to fresh eggs from their own chickens, everything was fresh to order and delicious. Lawrence makes the best breakfasts. Dawn was so patient and helpful in giving directions and information about hiking around the area. She is a wealth of valuable information. They make the perfect team. You can walk beautiful trails right from their front door. I would highly recommend Strath Lodge..you won't be disappointed! We will definitely return:)

Stath Lodge is ideally located in the heart of Glencoe and just a short walk to the village. The Bidean room is the perfect size with premium bedding and a powerful shower for a couple who want privacy, space, comfort, coziness and luxury, with spectacular mountain scenery outside the windows. Dawn and Lawrence took care of everything for us effortlessly, because they are so good in their job. You feel safe in their care. Dawn does a great job with the rooms and her guests, and is so understanding, obliging and kind. She was also very helpful with recommendations and directions. She is the kind of host who shows genuine interest in her guests and really wants you to have a good time. Lawrence is behind the scene doing all that he does best, including whipping up a scrumptious breakfast. All food is beautifully served and plated in high-quality kitchenware. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended!

Dawn and Laurence are wonderful hosts. The house is immaculately clean, the beds are great, the sheets are high quality, and the breakfasts were delicious and cooked to your order. The house is in a quiet and peaceful setting just outside of Glencoe. We would definitely stay here again.
