A hidden Gem very near the venue we were going to - immaculate and well appointed - was also good centralised for Glasgow shopping and areas of interest. Parking (paid) right outside accommodation and lots of eating places nearby.

i absolutly cant recommend it enough lovely to stay in and lovely owners. beautful location . i willl look forward to staying solo as it was just lovely thank u Veena and partner .x bed so comfy even though i never experenice but look to stayn soon all best kerry x

PHOTOS & Video evidence available on request...Paid for 2 nights only stayed for ONE...SHOWER OUT OF ORDER.. Only got my parking key deposit back because I sent email reminder, 3 months later. ! Poor communication, unclear where to park and how to park. Dirty, dusty, grimy, cold, everything shabby and clearly neglected. Poorly managed. Bed was okay. ENTRANCE Hallway" dark shabby full of the LINEN under stairs on display. BEWARE! main door only opened half way before jamming causing me to have to drop bag. No welcome pack that was up to date, information on how to use the apartment, or, use microwave as it was very confusing digital one. Non working cooker top.!!! Lots of useless crap left all over like stuff in fridge.!! Smoke detector fell off as I walked under it. And someone's old slippers left in cupboard.part of bedside cupboard was on floor in wardrobe. DANGEROUS! Cover was loose, fell off immersio heater. No instructions how to use heating....on and on......

Fantastic location for Barrowlands but place was freezing cold and filthy …1 smoke alarm not working electric shower not working and very little hot water only enough for one bath we had booked twin beds but room had a double .. none of the electrical items had been PAT tested… all this for about £130 per night .after complaining we were given a small oil filled radiator and said a plumber would be up to fix shower… outside the place looked neglected car parking availabile for £50 refundable deposit but access gate chained up so to get we had to walk through the flats next door …. No tea / coffee but dirty canisters …. We had to keep the curtains drawn whilst we were there as the windows were so draughty and sat wearing coats and hats for our whole stay …we were in room 11

We stayed in apartment 22 on the top floor. The previous guest was still asleep in the bed when my husband arrived. The whole place stank of her cigarette smoke. The recliner sofa was broken, though that didn't become obvious until later. The shower is worse than useless. This may be due to water pressure, but there are plenty of gadgets on the market that can improve this. Despite advertising wifi, the password provided was wrong and we had to wait for this to be resolve. Even once we had the correct password, the signal was so weak it was rendered unusable. We never did gain access to the service we were promised, leaving us unable to receive or respond to emails while at the property. We are both self-employed and being available is crucial. We were forced to deal with a number of issues and enquiries while in restaurants and bars where wifi was available. Not great when you consider that we were in these places to eat and relax. Condoms and baby wipes left in drawers. **The following complaint is rather more serious and, despite emailing Veena, property manager, on two occasions, I have yet to receive any response.** On the Saturday we were out much of the day and again in the evening. Upon our return I noticed that not a single smoke alarm was to be seen. I did however spot a plastic disc above the sitting room door and realised that this was actually the back of a battery powered smoke alarm. So I went looking for the rest of the unit and found it in the drawer. The previous guest possibly put it there to avoid setting it off while smoking. This tells me two things. Firstly the management do not properly respect the welfare of their guests; no check was made to ensure the unit was present. In short they endangered us. Were there a fire in the building we would not have been alerted to this fact and may have died as a result. Secondly they have failed to adhere to the law. The law in Scotland changed on the 1st of February 2022. Every home (and premises rented for the purpose of hosting short term guests) must now have interlinked smoke alarms. These are hardwired into the electricity and cannot be interfered with by smoking guests. If one goes off, they all go off. Failure to provide correctly installed smoke alarms is criminal negligence and I have reported the owners/management to the relevant authorities!
