Checked in at 8:30pm, the reception area is dark. Bed has plenty of hair. Breakfast is good, the the pastry I got is not baked properly, tha lady attending the breakfast is not friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect. Checking in and out, is swift, no problem. 50/50 recommendation.

Good location in close proximity to fast food outlets should you arrive late you can grab something to eat irs very close to Buchanan bus staion if you're heading out to other cities by coaxh. From bath street, the hotel is easily accessible straight up the hill on your left

My Grandson and I were in Glasgow for the Scotland v Portugal game and really enjoyed our stay , because we booked through the hotel we got a free breakfast. The hotel is an ideal location and staff were friendly and obliging . I would certainly stay here again.

Really Friendly staff who gave out recommendations as to what I could do since It's my first time in Glasgow, bit of a weird brekkie since it's all cold except for the toast but hey It's a new experience. Thank you Point A team!

The hotel is fairly new, super clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The amenities are basic, and the rooms are small, but that’s kinda the point with this type of hotel.

Convenient hotel in Glasgow city centre. Super helpful staff, no parking on site tho. Also rooms are quite small. Overall average hotel worth the price.

As a hotel being used for convenience between trips, the point A very much fit the bill, easy to locate and reach, comfortable and welcoming, extremely helpful for onward travel early in the morning.

Good location, clean and comfortable. I accidentally booked a twin with no window and immediately noticed once I had paid. I immediately phoned and a really lovely man on the phone switched us to a double room ( same price online ) , he offered a free upgrade to double with window. Upon checking in we were told we had been downgraded to a double with no window. A heater was offered as rooms were cold. Windowless room wasn't too bad, just a little cramped. But for the price and location we still thought it was great value for money.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights. When I walked in this hotel, it was quite dark at the lobby. The service provided by the reception was acceptable but I would rate it 2 out of 5. I got to change my room twice. The first room I got was extremely dirty, the air-conditioning was extremely dusty, got hairy stuff on the bedsheets and pillowcases, and the room is quite smelly. So I went down to the reception requested for a room change. The staff at the reception was unhelpful and didn’t trust me that the room’s dirty, and she was quite unwilling to change the room for me. And one of the staff members went up to the room and checked if what I said was true about the dirtiness of the room. Finally, I got my room changed, but when I walked into the second room, the air-conditioning was again super dusty, they even use the small chair in the room to cover up the nasty hole on the wall. There were hairs all over the wall in the toilet, and overall the building was old and obviously didn’t do any maintenance at all. Lastly, I went down to the reception asking for a refund, but the staff wasn’t willing to help me at all, so I decided to leave the hotel and booked another hotel without getting any refunds. Looking back in hindsight, I won’t book this hotel and will add another 50-60 gbp per night for a way better hotel experience.

Amazing location near city centre. Friendly staff. Excellent for the money paid for budget hotel.
