Asiatic Lion Lodge

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Asiatic Lion Lodge, Gir. The resort is beautifully designed and impeccably maintained, blending perfectly with the serene surroundings of Gir. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Every meal was a delight! The staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service; they were always attentive, friendly, and eager to make our stay special. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lodge.

Negative Points 1 Wifi is not consistent in the room 2 Slippers can be provided in the rooms as standard Overall was a great experience and stay. The property is few KM from the main Sasan Gir Highway tucked away in amidst thick greenery. I would definitely repeat my stay here the next time i am going to GIR and also recommend this property for any planning to Visit GIR gurjarat. Mr. Jaydeep at reception and Mr. Aman at the inhouse restaurant were welcoming and helpful in supporting our needs during our stay.

Asiatic lion lodge is a proper wildlife boutique resort. Lobby is very aesthetic. It has comfortable sitting It is stocked with some nice wildlife books. 18 spacious cottages like african style giving you a feel of staying in a forest I really loved the room, so spacious, cozy bed, cozy sofa, clean washroom, plus outside sitting. A calm and open Cafe Gazebo to just retire from daily life and discover yourself in calmness. Where I enjoyed my one evening tea. Restaurant serving local authentic food and has other options too... The taste of food was superb. Service was top class. I really enjoyed all the meals, lunch, dinner, breakfast over here. Had the next day evening tea and pakodas in balcony And nature here and there. Swiming Pool for taking a break after safari. There are cycles and kids play area. Plus also dinner alongside bonfire really ended the day in a fantastic way. And here comes the safari at gir interpretation zone. It had really great vibe. Where they took us to the safari in the bus. There we first spotted lioness twice. Then also spotted, spotted deers. Then came the leopard. It was a great experience. But stay has to be at Asiatic lion lodge.

The location is great just a 5-8 min drive to the Gir National Park reception. The rooms are good sized, clean and comfortable. The property has a nice eco friendly atmosphere with the farms and orchards around it. Also within the property they have created small nooks under trees with bed swing and chair which make it a great place to spend time. The best thing about the property is their service. The staff was friendly and eager to make you comfortable and try to meet all your needs. A big shout out to Nikunj, Aman, Ajay and Siddharth who looked after us very well. And trust me we are not an easy lot. Traveling with family we were 6 adults, 1 child and 2 infants and the staff really looked after us very well. On the cons for the property - the food menu and presentation could use a bit of an upgrade but the taste was good.

Awesome place with photogenic surroundings. The cottage-rooms were spacious and extra clean especially the wash-rooms. The staff's hospitality is top notch. Special mention to Reception/Housekeeping staff Jaydeep, Karsan, Ankita Restaurant staff Aman, Krishna, Ajay, Sairaj, Kailash Singha and Chef Saurabh for making us so comfortable. The food was also wonderful a perfect mix of modern and traditional local dishes. Thank you guys for making our holiday a best time of our life. God bless.

We had a memorable experience. The lodge was well maintained. The staff were very helpful. The food and service was very good. We enjoyed our stay. The ambience is wonderful with kids play area, swings, beautiful sit outs and a lot more. The rooms are really fantastic. Its indeed a wonderful experiential stay
