Ok, but the single room is too small.

Hotel con una excelente situación,al lado de la playa de San Lorenzo y del centro de la ciudad.Habitaciones limpias,desayuno correcto pero...Sorpresa!Atención con el aire acondicionado si viajan en pleno verano. Supuestamente,el aire acondicionado llevaba días averiado y no se había notificado nada a los clientes para que no realizaran cancelaciones(obviamente) en plena ola de calor.Según palabras textuales de la persona que estaba en recepción "llevaban días con esa avería y por eso habían eliminado que las habitaciones tenían aire acondicionado en los diferentes buscadores,puesto que iba para rato...":ni lo habían eliminado,ni pidieron disculpas ni ofrecieron algún tipo de compensación y,sorprendentemente,el domingo ya funcionaba aunque levemente. Avería o estrategia para ahorrar?

The Hotel is not 3 stars, far from that level, apart from the good location, very little positive things can be said. The Breakfast is outsourced, and really is not up to any standard, they do you a favour sort of.....and something better could be expected from the description of the hotel in the website. The chain, should try better. As for the rooms are very small, at least, there was no noise on the evening I stayed, as for the wifi, almost impossible to connect to you, so better try some other hotel.....the description should be better, as for the price it was steep for the service offered. Parking is not easy if at all, and the nearest public parking is a few blocks away, and it is not cheap. Next visit to Gijon, I will look for a different and better hotel.

Went to Gijon for a friend's wedding in the off season. I can see how the place would be popular in the summer season, but not much going on otherwise. The hotel is in a prime location though - right next to the beach and downtown. We booked through a website called hotel club - for convenience as my friend had used it. The desription was nothing like reality - they clearly said there was an indoor swimming pool. Wasn't expecting much, but the description is clearly for another hotel, as this is a small old hotel with locals in the coffee shop in the front. The rooms are pretty pokey and some of the walls are a bit paper thin, but they've made a precent decent crack at fixing it up to make it look a bit more modern by adding some pop art prints and theming each room with a famous person. Probably quite good value for the location and the standard.

Te dicen q se les ha estropeado el aíre y llevan sin aire 10 meses. Q no lo pueden arreglar, las cortinas se caen con el peso y los tornillos con ellas, la limpieza deja mucho q desear. Un asco. La ubicación inmejorable y las recepcionistas unos encantos. Una pena.

Todo fue muy bien hasta que al regresar a mi casa me di cuenta de que había olvidado algunas prendas de ropa. El mismo día de mi salida les llamé, me dijeron que me llamarían y nada, al día siguiente volví a llamar, y días más tarde también. Me decían que no habían encontrado nada. Era imposible, sólo me alojé allí, no pude olvidar la ropa en ningún otro sitio, por tanto me ha decepcionado enormemente. No lo recomendaré nunca aunque no creo que les importe. Creo que tienen un gran problema si desaparecen las cosas. Me duele que no se hayan puesto en contacto conmigo al menos para pedir disculpas.
