Villaggio Alkantara

Good break in a quiet location but is still close to other towns and the beach with a local supermarket 10 mins walk away. Food was okay with a good variety of things available each night staff went above and beyond adapting items available to suit dietary requirements and preferences. Bed was slightly uncomfortable as it was 2 single mattresses put together but hotel room was clean and a large terrace with a good view (pictured) made it enjoyable. The entertainment was very focused around children with the kids disco starting as late as 10pm. And requests to play a variety of music fell on deaf ears after repeatedly asking. The bar staff were lovely and very accommodating with reasonable prices for both food and drink.

We enjoyed our stay in Villagio Alkantara. We stayed in the room number 143. The rooms are pretty basic but very well kept clean and cosy with great air conditioner. The fridge is also a very nice bonus. We booked breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was standard but dinner was amazing with drinks included. Thank you so much, we enjoyed every meal and had a great time. The pool is very well kept with a beautiful view on a large territory with beautiful plants. We had a queire and the receptionists were very helpful in sorting it out. We definitely recommend this hotel for the price and location. We will definitely come back next year.

Just spent a week here. Accomodation was basic but spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area, with lots of young people having a great time. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Staff were great. Couple of issues we had were swiftly dealt with by the very helpful reception staff, don't understand some of the negative reviews on here.

The staff at Villaggio Alkantara could not have been better. Everyone was so helpful. Antonella and Linda in the bar were so friendly and Irene and the rest of the cleaning team couldn't do enough for us. Luca at reception also deserves a shout out for being great. We were a group of 10 people and were made to feel so at home and so looked after for our entire stay.

The way in we were both treated last year by the lovely staff we decided to go again this year and we are both so glad we did the moment you walk through the gates to the reception you know your in for a great time greeted by the reception team they will always make settling in a straight forward process breakfast staff always friendly with a smile and hello first thing breakfast is taken in a spacious air conditioned room food lovely lots of options if you want to spend time around the pool great team around to serve you drinks and food the man who does the lifeguarding looks after the pool area immaculately rooms are always cleaned every day new fresh towels soaps etc special mention to the cleaner who took it upon herself to help my girlfriend with luggage upon arrival showed us to our rooms thankyou definitely recommend this hotel and both me and my girlfriend will be going back

This hotel is absolutely lovely! All the staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are cleaned daily and brilliant views of Mount Etna! This is my second year coming to the hotel and il definitely be coming back next year! The pool area is stunning pool cleaned daily and has a nice bar area! 100% recommend this to anybody
