1863 Inn of Gettysburg

This is a wonderful place, and I always stay here when I’m visiting Gettysburg. It is quaint, yet modern; with wonderful facilities. The entire staff….Mandy, Sierra, Bobbie, Aleena, Abbey, Becky, Owen, Nora, Lisa, Romero, etc. are all helpful and friendly. The hot breakfast is excellent. It is located between the battlefield and shipping. My three pet (VA service animal) rabbits live it here too. I can’t wait until my next visit! A top rating of two rabbit ears up!! I have been staying here for many years. The best place to stay in town. Location is super convient and a small walk to the main circle along with shops along the street. The rooms are very nice and the beds are quite comfy. Staff is super friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast is also one of the best breakfasts you can have at a hotel. You are located right next to Jennie Wade house which gives an history and ghost buffs a huge bonus! Can’t wait until we get to come back again!

I changed my hotel last minute and I'm so glad I did. This may not be a luxury hotel but it is very clean. The beds were comfortable. It is conveniently located. They have free breakfast and plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again !

We stayed at the Inn for three nights at the end of August. The room was perfect especially the beautiful updated bathroom (nice fluffy towels, toiletries, plenty of counter space, lovely decor). Breakfast was delicious with a wonderful selection of items. The lobby and dining room are beautifully decorated as well as very friendly staff. Convenient location to walk to restaurants, shops, and some museums. We would definitely stay at the Inn again.

I was there for a wine festival. They were offering room+tix+shuttle rides. Except no one on the front desk could tell you where the shuttle stopped. 3 dz ppl missed the 1st one. So, I walked out to the street and looked - there is a PERMANENT shuttle stop a half block up the street. But NO ONE there knew that? Once I got over that, the stay was OK. Rooms were nothing special, but they were clean and the bed was comfortable. Towels were chintzy, but there were plenty of them. The breakfast was the star of this stay. They have a really nice area, with everything spread out and clearly marked. I liked the auto toaster and the coffee was good. It's a short walk to the town circle, and there are plenty of dining options on the way.

This hotel is about the best there is if you want a "Holiday Inn" like stay that's close to everything! It's a tiny bit pricey BUT, includes a hot breakfast with just about every option you can think of, is literally next door to the Jennie Wade House and the brand new Gettysburg Tour Center and a very short distance from Cemetery Hill and the famous gatehouse of the National Cemetery. It's my go-to when I visit Gettysburg and I've never been disappointed. Friendly staff, great amenities, and it's right across from a frozen custard stand and gas station. You can't go wrong!

This hotel is a budget-friendly, no-frills hotel. While there is not much in the way of luxury, the hotel does have some good features. First, the hotel is very conveniently located in the more touristy section of Gettysburg. The National Cemetery, Dobbin House restaurant (best in Gettysburg), tour companies, ice cream, fast food and souvenir shops are all within easy walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, and we had plenty of clean towels. We had a small fridge, tv and coffee machine. There was a desk and office chair, as well as an extra easy chair. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. We also had plenty of outlets to charge our devices. This hotel has an outdoor pool, although we didn’t use it. It looked clean and well maintained. Breakfast is included for guests and is your typical hotel breakfast. There were plenty of tables for everyone to eat. There is an elevator to the upper floors. We did not have any trouble finding a parking space in the hotel lot. On the negative side, the beds were so-so comfortable, mostly due to the low thread count sheets. Our AC unit worked well but was very noisy.

This place is great. Our 2nd time here. Rooms are clean and comfy and not run down, staff is friendly.This nice place is in a perfect location for walking to many shops and several nice resturant nearby. You can also use their restaurant. Free breakfast which was good. They also have a very nice ,clean outdoor pool which I love . Prices were decent for a weekend rate. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom nice and large, and the walk-in shower was wonderful. Very helpful staff! Good breakfast included with your stay. Centrally located near shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions. They have a loyalty program allowing you to save money if you are a repeat customer.
