Baladerry Inn

If you’re looking for a quiet escape, this B&B is the place. My husband believes it can never be too quiet—and even he was thrilled! The peaceful setting was just what we needed. Breakfasts were fabulous—thoughtfully prepared and delicious. We also appreciated the complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea always available (cold drinks were offered for a small fee). The patio was a lovely place to unwind, with access to a hot tub and fire pit for relaxing evenings under the stars. The entire property was spotless, and the hosts clearly take pride in maintaining a welcoming space. They were knowledgeable about the area and offered plenty of helpful information and recommendations. At the same time, they fully respected our privacy, giving us space to truly relax. Ample, free parking was another bonus. All in all, a wonderful stay—and one we would absolutely recommend.

I recently stayed at the Baladerry for a girls weekend in Gettysburg. It was a beautiful and charming spot. The owners, Judy and Kenny, couldn’t have been more welcoming. The property is beautiful and historic. We stayed in the Primrose and the Vines rooms. Everything was extremely clean and neat with amenities available for anything you may need. Coffee and tea were served hot and fresh each morning followed by a 3-course home cooked breakfast. Everything we had was delicious and the hosts were extremely helpful. We enjoyed the fireplace in the great room, spacious bed and private bathrooms and a hot tub for the evenings. I would love to visit and stay here again. Thank you Judy and Kenny for making our trip such a success!

We had a wonderful stay at the Baladerry Inn! Judy & Kenny greeted us right away, gave us a tour of everything. They have maps, pamphlets, & provide recommendations of place to go & eat. Everything was just a few minutes car ride. We hung out by the fire in the great room & played some games. I would highly recommend the Baladerry Inn! Thanks Judy & Kenny!!!

Return stay for me and the accommodations continue to bee excellent. The roof was quiet and comfortable. My breakfast was tasty. The location at the southern end of the battlefield was good for me since I was joining a tour of that end of park.

We love the Baladerry Inn. The owners Kenny & Judy are the most welcoming and friendly hosts. This was our second time staying at the Inn. The rooms are beautiful. You are served a fresh homemade breakfast prepared by Kenny and Judy each morning. Location is absolutely the best whether it’s early in the morning or in the evening you can see Deers walking through the grounds and sometimes you can even hear the goats of the nearby neighbors. It is such a calming place to stay. We will definitely go back again. I highly recommend if you’re traveling to the Gettysburg area you need to stay at the Baladerry Inn!

Wonderful! The rooms were clean and well equipped with amenities. Judy and Jim were terrific hosts. And it is very close to the battlefield and stores. I would recommend the Baladerry Inn to friends and if we went to Gettysburg again we would stay at the Baladerry.
