Sunprime Platanias Beach

We spent two weeks vacation. We chose the hotel since it is an Adults only hotel. We had a very good time. Had read some bad reviews regarding breakfast but had expected worse. It was not that bad. Very friendly staff and quiet hotel. We could print the bagage tags and check in the bagage at the hotel on day of departure which was very convenient.

I spend my weeklong holiday here from 24th of June until 1th of july 2023. The hotel overall is great. Right by the sea, with a just fine beach restaurant (the chicken suvlaki is great) and a private section with free sunbeds etc. The staff here were so nice, welcoming and helpful. Everyone from the reception, breakfast crew, cleaning, wellness and beach restaurant staff was lovely. Their breakfast was good. Sure, it's the same everyday but I'm confident that many people will eat mostly the same every morning anyway. Their granola was wonderful and with both chia seeds and going berries. I did hope that watermelon would be there everyday, though, which I'm sure many others would also appreciate- it was only there 1 morning. I had a fullbody massage which was great. The gym is adequate, but they need to expand and at least change their different handles for the cable tower. they are worn out. The pools are beautiful and clean. My room was just fine- and the bed was good. Very good service here.

This Hotel has peaceful surroundings, great for relaxation, yet close to the center of Platanias. Its a clean, modern hotel. The staff here is very kind and warm and always eager to help. The restaurant by the beach has really tasty food and drinks for a good price regarding the location with sea view. So I had an overall great stay here, and would recommend this hotel for solo travellers, couples and groups of friends.

Close to the beach, quiet, good location to be away from the city and people but yet close to. Room was clean, would prefer one double bed than two separate sliding apart. The drainage was clogged for the first days of stay but the staff fixed it fast. The room itself has seen better days. But loved the view through the window. The breakfast buffet is 50/50. The same food all week, and sorry but the chef was serving highly undercooked food, or either there was always something off with the texture or flavour. The restaurant by the sea has way too many staff doing nothing, they lack of training. Overpriced and really not worth it! It is sad that the hotel tries to satisfy tourists nature and serves english breakfast in buffet and fish and chips at the restaurant for instance. Please keep the Greek cuisine, else way everybody will go to eat to your neighbour restaurants, as they did this time! The waiters at the pool extremely friendly and helpful. Very polite and nice! Reception was okay, you could use more training for them, they were not confident at all in helping nor consulting. Overall the best benefit was almost no people and beautiful surroundings with the beach being so close so we could rest and enjoy peace.
