Kimberly Hotel is hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We booked two rooms, traveling with two elderly ladies, and the entire stay was nothing short of a disaster. My aunt got food poisoning from the buffet breakfast, which was both unhygienic and downright terrible. She suffered from diarrhea and vomiting for two days. This hotel is barely worthy of one star. The rooms are small, gloomy, and uncomfortable. In the so-called "Oriental Room," there was a horrible stench coming from the toilet, which only worsened my aunt’s condition. To make matters worse, the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted, making the entire room feel even more stifling.
Despite complaining about the food poisoning, no one from the hotel followed up. I had to take my aunt to a clinic myself to get her treated. After that, we couldn’t even think of eating at the breakfast buffet again.
The hotel’s second lift was faulty, and although I informed housekeeping staff, they didn’t bother doing anything about it. The only redeeming staff member was Pushkar from security, who helped my mother a few times, and I will say the café staff were at least friendly. However, these small gestures don’t make up for the overall experience.
I am demanding that Kimberly Hotel reimburse me for the clinic expenses and the two days' worth of breakfast we missed. The lobby may give a four-star impression, but beyond that, everything is dirty, smelly, and utterly disappointing. The room walls are paper-thin, and the entire layout is cramped. Even the iron and board are left outside the rooms. Stay away from this hotel!
