This hotel forced me to pay the Malaysian Tourist Tax Twice for this room: even though I showed clear evidence from my Trip.com booking that I had already paid, they said that I should have booked through Agoda or *********** instead, and refused to check me in until I handed over the extra cash to cover this. The receptionist and Manager were both extremely uninterested in helping me resolve this double payment and told me it was my problem, so ring trip.com for a tourist tax refund. And of course, Trip.com won’t let you talk to a human and their automated system is not set up to handle partial refunds. The hotel said this always happens with trip.com. Soured our whole experience of this hotel - strongly recommend not to stay unless you like getting ripped off.
