The stay itself was quite pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable. However, the check-in and check-out experiences could have been better. Upon arrival at the reception, I informed the staff that I had a room booking, but was met with silence and no greeting or acknowledgment. His demeanor felt cold and unwelcoming. During check-out, I inquired whether we had paid a deposit. He insisted we show a receipt, which led me to search anxiously through my belongings, only to realize that no receipt had been provided to us at the time of check-in. Overall, the customer service by the staff (foreign guy) could be improved for a more hospitable experience. That said, I would like to commend one of the night staff members, an Indian lady named Nava (if I’m not mistaken). She was incredibly warm, attentive, and kind. Her customer service truly stood out and made a difference in our stay. Thank you for your kindness, Nava.

Everything was good,got a pool to swim,got a cafe to eat and i got a quite room superb! Near to town easy to walk around!

Very convenience, just cross road i cant get famous cendol ais. As mentiln everything is pink..haha

It’s really pink—just like in the Barbie movie! Not the best, but definitely better than I expected, especially for the price. The room was clean, with strong water pressure, and the bed and pillows were just right for me. No cockroach sightings, which is always a plus!That said, be aware that the washroom silicone can be a bit mouldy and worn out due to the building’s age and Penang’s humid weather. Location wise is perfect. 5 mins walk to Komtar, Penang Road Nyonya Chendul and 10mins walk to Chowrasta Market and Kimberly Night Market. Overall, I had a lovely stay.

I stayed at Pink Cabana Hotel for one night, and while it was okay for a short stay, there were several issues that need attention. The floor had sand, and no sandals were provided, which made it feel like the room wasn’t cleaned properly. On a positive note, the toilet was surprisingly clean. The air conditioning was poorly positioned—it only cooled one double bed while the other bed received little to no airflow, making it quite uncomfortable. It seems like the unit hasn’t been serviced in a while. In terms of service, the Vietnamese receptionist was friendly and welcoming. However, the other staff member (a Penang local) was not as approachable, which was disappointing. A more customer-friendly attitude would make a big difference. The biggest downside was the parking fee! —RM12 for parking from 3 PM to 10 AM the next day felt excessive. Overall, the hotel is fine for a quick stay, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

I don’t like the staff tone. The one wearing hijab. She’s like judging me when asking. I wish they can improve

One of worst experiences..My flight has delay and obviously I couldn't inform them so I arrived 12:30, and no one was in reception. We were so tired but had no choice to go to another hotel near by. The staff were helpful but not so friendly, they were serious not warm and welcoming. Everywhere pink but not so clean. The blanket and bed sheet had stians. Seems not clean. Bed and pillow sheet was so thin, and the pillow sheet easily removed at night when you are sleeping and the under pillow was so dirty. There was small poll good for children playing. There were a bar or something nearby, the whole night you hear the music sound from outside. You have to ask them to clean the room, otherwise they don't, and once I asked they left a dirty torn towel there on the chair. Overall, I do not recommend the place.

Just for short trip I think this is the affordable option we have. Nice building and quite unique.

Room is dirty and out dates. Sheets and pillows were stained. Hotel is decorated in pink. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place. But you get what you pay for. Also bathroom had a weird smell. Could see the outside from the door and you can hear everything from outside

The hotel Location and Staff are Great but need to maintain cleanliness in the room abit better, because the toilet got unpleasant smell.
