Clean, small, cosy, decent bathrooms. Very good for the price. There is a club attached so at the weekend it’s very hard to sleep until 3am unless you have ear plugs (we did luckily). The hostel should provide ear plugs to the guests. The bathrooms were good but I was worried men could just walk into the women’s section. Overall definitely worth the money.

Great location to go! ❤️❤️ If you have planned to penang, this is the best choice for group traveller with your friend. I recommended the room at 4th floor. There is a little some noises. (Fews)

It's a cosy hotel suitable for all age range travellers. Be it cleanliness, or the services, I like the environment there alot. I also like the washing machine and dryer provided in the big bathroom. Only suggestion is should put 1 bottle of mineral in room in case Traveller cant find the water dispenser right after the lift.

It was a good choice if you need couple of hours to sleep. Very centrally located and you may just walk to places within 10-15 minutes. Clean room and shared bathroom as well.

Very nice hotel and the staff are friendly but there was a very loud music noise outside that didn’t stop up until 2 to 3 am. It’s probably a location issue.

Since the toilet light automatically switches off after a short period, it can be a bit disruptive, especially if I'm not moving around (during the toilet bowl time). It would be much more convenient and more comfortable to have a regular switch-operated light instead, so i wouldn't need to waive my hand or make extra movement to keep the light on.

Room was very clean and had everything you needed, the bed was comfortable and there was netflix on the tv, very good location and there was a mee traik place next to eat, good for dinner. Water, fridge and microwave provided, slippers, shower bag and towel provided as well, and the laundry is FOR FREE! Loved this hostel it had everything needed. :)

This budget hotel has friendly staff kudos to Arafat who really attend to my requests during my stay here. Will definitely come back again.

Very clean and well lit up hotel. The room was small with no window but at this price it’s the best option. The receptionist were very helpful and friendly. I forgot my perfume and went back to the hotel, they told me they found it and give me back.

It was the first hotel to stay in Penang, with cost-effective and ideally located, close to some of Georgetown's attractions and cuisine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there was also something to be aware of, as this hotel only offers public bathrooms and toilets. And the soundproofing of this hotel was not very good, at night you would hear the DJ sound of the next nightclub, until about 2 p.m.😮💨

Always here for a quick stay. Location wise is perfect but if you are driving, parking is a lil bit of issue. The free laundry is always a plus point and I love the duvet. Soft and fluffy and of coz it feels clean. Noise is an issue if your room's close to the club next door. Thus, I strongly suggest to pick those rooms which are further away from the club.

Sleepbox Penang offers a unique and budget-friendly experience right in the heart of George Town. I loved the modern, capsule-style concept that provides privacy and comfort without breaking the bank. Despite being compact, the rooms were clean and equipped with essentials like good Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of many heritage sites and local eateries. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area.
