Some of the parts and accessories are worn out, housekeeping can still do better on the tiles floor. Not safe to walk to cable car but shuttle bus frequency is reasonable during CNY holiday. Each room is entitled to have one pax complimentary guided walk around the golf course. There should have more activities provided by the hotel, however, cannot find a guide booklet in the room.

In general, a pleasant stay. The hotel provides brushes and some snacks upon check-in. There is no refill of tea bags or drinking water. Need to go to the dispenser to refill myself. Buffet breakfast was good. The room was cool without needing to turn on the aircon. The shuttle bus to the premium outlet or cable car station is hourly. Grab was also available, though we needed to pay premium at peak hours. Super long queues at cable cars, waited an hour to go to the hill top.

Great service and location with free access to various facilities like swimming pool and gym. Noise however travel through rooms easily.

Very recommended for family with kids because the hotel so many kids activities so that they are can enjoy the hotel to max. Hotel also offer a shuttle bus to GPO within 1 hour time frame until 11pm. If you drive car here you can validate touch n go card so that you only pay minimal parking rate during your visit. Definitely will repeat again because I love the cozy environment.

Stay during school holiday, got free sample from farm fresh, free kids activities and free high tea for mummy..

The hotel provides activities for kids. Good pool for kids plus the gym has sufficient and good equipment. The Awana Terrace restaurant has friendly staff. Overall, will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay in Awana Resort hotel . Very clean and lots of space to play. Nice weather. great value for money and Very kind staff . But u front door Hotel not welcome ur guest. I thing this 3 time I come. Same thing. We hope do something about this.

First time staying here. It was nice place and it feels so good with the breezy air and great view. Breakfast also taste good. Definitely will coming back again here. Thanks

Resort World Awana is located at midhill, the location is not convenient. It is usually hard to book a grab car in the morning as told by the receptionist at the hotel. Nevertheless, the hotel provided complimentary shuttle service to Genting Premium Outlet so we can take a cable car up.

Disappointing Staycation Experience at Resort Awana I recently stayed at Resort Awana with my family (2 adults and 2 kids) and had high hopes for a relaxing getaway but unfortunately, the experience fell short. Room Experience: We booked the Superior Deluxe Room with two double beds. While the room itself was spacious, the toilet drain emitted a strong, pungent smell. When I called the receptionist to request a room change, they simply sent a staff member with a scented spray to mask the odor. This was a disappointing lack of effort and fell short of what I expected from a hotel of this standard. Balcony Woes: Be cautious when opening the balcony door, especially at night. The balcony attracts various insects and if the door isn’t properly closed, they will invade your room. Misleading Breakfast Package: The package we booked indicated breakfast for two guests, along with a "Grab and Go" option at Cheeky Grind. This was extremely misleading. Instead of a buffet breakfast, we were served an ala carte set menu with very limited options: three cupcake flavors, cheese toast, tuna sandwich and chicken pesto to choose from. The food quality was subpar and did not meet the standard of a holiday breakfast. It was a letdown, especially considering the price paid. Child-Friendliness: The one redeeming factor was the swimming pool, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel seems somewhat child-friendly but beyond the pool, there wasn’t much to offer in terms of family activities. Overall Value for Money: For the price we paid, the service and experience were far below expectations. The lack of attention to detail, misleading breakfast promises, and poor handling of issues were disappointing. While the pool is a plus for families, it doesn’t justify the overall cost and lack of quality service. Would I recommend this hotel? Not at this price point or service level. There are better options elsewhere for a family staycation. Rating: ⭐⭐ (2/5)

First time stay and have to say that the entire service experience was great from them! Buffet variety wasn’t extensive ngl though tastes wise is decent. Extreme downside was that the number of lifts from lobby to room has 3 only.. Many guests have to wait for ＞5 mins for a lift to arrive or it stops at multiple floors while being full capacity and wasting time going through almost every floor. Location abit far from the main attraction place at sky avenue too :(

Misleading! Be careful with their packages. We booked a package stay which is over RM100 more than room only as it included breakfast for two. In the details section it clearly stated "breakfast for two" under dining and ALSO INCLUDED "grab and go at cheeky grind". when we arrived the hotel told us we are only entitled to grab and go NOT buffet breakfast. The grab and go is a set meal with limited choices for drinks and a pastry or a sandwich (which was bland btw). SO NOT WORTH IT. Other people staying who took the package was mislead too. The manager was not helpful. He told us to contact trip. No compensation whatsoever, didn't try to help us except send an email. Customer service won't help you. Trip customer service will go around in circles but won't help either. Overall customer service sucks. Location is ok. One of the nicer hotels in genting. We got level 24, we were surrounded by clouds which is nice. Superior deluxe gets us two huge double beds. Suitable for couples with toddlers. If not for the breakfast issue everything else was ok. I would recommend getting room only then paying for breakfast when u get there.
