The Fern Samali Resort

A Perfect Nature Getaway at The Fern Samali, Dapoli We had a wonderful stay at The Fern Samali, Dapoli from Feb 24-26. The serene landscape, well-maintained property, and peaceful ambiance made it a perfect getaway from the city's hustle. We loved the restaurant, buffet meals, play area, and swimming pool. The highlight was the nature walk and cooking session with the chef, a unique experience. All staff were very supportive, with special thanks to Ms. Pooja Gurav for her assistance. Highly recommended for a refreshing retreat!

Fern Samali!!! One more time .... Our second visit to Fern Samali and we are not disappointed. This time too, we have selected the Aster room - the room with a swing!!! This room faces the east - so get up with the rising sun and soak in the beautiful sunrise. The room and bathroom are both clean as per my expectations. The general manager - Mr. Dinesh Yadav, manager and front office staff are praise worthy. Due to my daughter's knee injury, we needed a room with minimal steps to access the room. He promptly changed our room that was on the first floor to a ground level room. Appreciate this. The housekeeping staff and the restaurant staff are courteous. All the toiletries were provided for. Mr. Saikat attended to us in the restaurant and we are very pleased with his service. He was very prompt, and always had a smile. We tried Khiman Bhaat with methkut at breakfast, and it is really a treat for the taste buds. Kudos to the chef for the lovely food. The greenery in this lovely hotel is home to many birds, like the sunbird, bee eater, bulbul, woodpecker, etc. that can be easily spotted by their sweet calls. Just wishing that the next time we come here, the access roads are smoother. Hoping that Fern Samali yet again lives up to our expectations on our next visit here.

I keep on going for staycation to many fab hotels but staying at Fern Samali had been an experience in itself.The property is beautiful spanned across acres of land with modern amenities and natural beauty. Whatever amenities you can think of it is available. There are multiple activities like nature walk,picnic at beach and forest,cook with chef,bullock cart ride, visit to mango farm etc. The rooms are spacious, very neat and clean have excellent decor. We got a chance to stay in the suite room which is definitely the best! The best experience is the hospitality of the staff which is worth a mention, be it the reception staff or the room service or the restaurant staff - the behaviour and courtesy is top notch! Pooja is definitely worth a mention as she put extra efforts to show us the entire resort and made special arrangements for the anniversary we celebrated there. I simply loved the stay and would definitely visit again!! Would love to recommend Fern Samali to all when you visit Dapoli

We enjoyed our stay. The property is quite big and has all the facilities. The rooms are spacious, but need maintenance. The buffet spread was good, although less options in Nonveg. We also did nature trail activity, where Pooja took us to the forest and showed different birds. It was a nice experience.

The Fern Samali resort has a beautiful location and a wonderful property. We went there as part of my dad's college reunion. The service was outstanding and the staff right from the front desk (special mention Aafiya) to housekeeping (special mention Jaideep) were very welcoming, prompt and eager to serve. The restaurant staff was also very helpful and helped us with specific food requirements. Me and my dad went for a nature trail with Pooja Gurav who was very enthusiastic about birds and flora around the property. We saw many birds including drongo, sunbird, kingfisher, jungle Owlet, woodpecker and even snowy owl! Pooja was attentive about my dad walking down the slope and Jaideep came ***** with chai. He was also a wonderful spotter. This nature trail was the highlight of my stay! The rooms were very clean and aesthetically decorated. The balcony was my favorite part with a swing, and from where I could enjoy the rolling hills, the fog and sunrise. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to a groups of friends, family, couple...anyone who wants to enjoy the lap of nature.

Resort is too good. Hospitality is excellent. Best part of this resort is morning walking safari with Pooja madam. she gives us unique experience of birds chirping and forest walk. we sow so many different birds. Food was good. I really enjoyed at spa. Thank you for best experience of forest and good stay.
