Nice pub and rooms, ideal stopping off point travelling up north near Stirling. The restaurant is good, with reasonably priced classic pub food and selection of beers. Unfortunately we left too early to have the full Scottish breakfast which was included.

A wholesome stay
We had a one night stay at the Black Bull and wished we could’ve stayed longer. It’s such a wholesome place to stay, the staff are friendly, the rooms comfortable and set in a beautiful village.

Spacious room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. The staff were all friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were exceptional. We did not explore the surrounding area.

Perfect stay
Perfect getaway with lovely big room, very comfy bed and great shower. Really nice furniture and fittings and quiet for a good night's sleep. Everything was spotless.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent food at a reasonable price.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend.

Great stay with friends
Well signposted and so very easy to find! Very friendly welcome, comfortable, cosy bar and pretty decent food.
Our room was large with a huge bed and the only negative was the condensation on the inside of the windows.
