Hotel Bella Riva

My wife and I stayed at this incredible hotel on our first trip to Lake Garda. We have been very fortunate to stay in some excellent hotels but this is very special. The rooms are incredible, the ambiance is stylish yet relaxed the pool is excuisite and the views are priceless but the stand out is the the genuine hospitality. The staff are brilliant and are a credit to the hotel. This is class, style and 5* luxury at its best. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great hotel, staff amazing and super helpful. Had a few problems (caused by our agent not the hotel) whilst we were away but solved with a smile Pool is beautiful and the location is great. Short walk to Gardione town or taxi to Salo. Being right on the lake you get both lake or pool options. Great breakfast, decent lunch and dinner with excellent service and ambience Hotel rooms much better than the apartments which are a very different style There is some road noise early am if you are that side of the hotel but given it’s the only road around the lake then can’t be avoided. You also best like church bells and a sharp start as they start 0730! That said would come back to the hotel. The staff are a big asset and the style of the hotel very fresh

We've just returned from our 3rd visit here. Arguably one of the most attractive hotels on this shoreline, with beautiful gardens & far reaching views out across the lake. Rooms are very comfortable, food is excellent, staff generally very pleasant and helpful. We have a couple of criticisms / observations which is why our review is not 5 stars. We love it here and are already planning to return next year. But, for a 5 star hotel, you would expect more attentive pool service and certainly to be available from 9.30am / 10am. The hotel appears to be family friendly, but this is not clear to most guests who appear to be annoyed at children in the pool. We have a 6yr old Son, who lived in the pool or the lake for 6 days almost! There were many guests that appeared to take offensive at my Son and others playing nicely in the pool; perhaps this should be made clear to guests that this is not an 'adult only' hotel; there are plenty of those hotels in / around the lake.. Finally, just a minor grumble, but the absence of plug sockets in the rooms is a little frustrating. Can't wait to return in 2024.
